This is cute but the ending was rushed. So many happenings in the last 5? chapters that I can't keep up.

Cover looks good omg Edit: Holy fuck, this story is just Basically my summary for this story: MC have mommy issues and helped her mom in commiting murder to her husbands. MC have a step-brother whose obsessed at her and does not care about MC past. I finally finished this story. I expected too much in this story. I was actually loved the different perspectives of the characters in particular scenes because it connected everything to the main cause of it. As for the main leads, this made me realized that I am not reading these type of stories about being step family of their romantic interest jfc, it's so unsettling to see those two becoming couple. As for the mother, I actually like how they made her a villain with no remorse to her doings, that's a rare villain for sure

It got removed from my lists for some reason :( Anyway, this story deserves it's popularity. However, as a novel reader, I may find the ending rushed. They REALLY CHANGED a lot of scenes and I don't expect those scenes tobe included in sides stories since those were originally the scenes they changed in manhwa adaption. Overall, I like how they made some characters less evil here compared to their novel version.

Finally read this after being in my lists for years. I'm going to be honest, the plot had potential until the empress lose her shit. It really went down after that and plot went out of nowhere. Idk in the beginning, I thought the story will be more focus to the ml trying to gain back his country (I mean that's how I understand the summary) Also at first, I was really happy to the character development of the FL by opening her heart to the ml but it took a bad turn when she started to become obsessive to him. I understand that she act like that because the ml is the first one to care about her truly but as an empress, she's really dumb and irrational when she started killing everyone. I really don't like the ending the most, fuck her previous empire. They just need her bc they are falling apart but if its on another they will just execute her and kill her. I'm not done with this review yet, will edit this again after
