This could’ve been so cute, but because the MC Hyesung was such an insufferable, selfish and callous idiot, this turned into a painful makjang-fest instead. While Dojin definitely made some serious mistakes along the way too, Hyesung is ultimately the cause of 99% of the drama. Not only is he stupidly getting scammed over and over, he: 1) Lashes out at Dojin for using him and crossing boundaries when he’s the one who came onto Dojin both times initially, AND the only reason Dojin took him in virtually free of charge was to save his ungrateful ass from being scammed 2) Uses his unborn child and Dojin’s feelings as an excuse to treat Dojin ABOMINABLY - literally treated him as a slave and gloated all day about sitting at home using his money 3) Ran away and deserted his own child, even tries to sleep with some random alpha when he ran away from Dojin in a fit (it took the one night stand alpha to tell him he’s a piece of trash before he woke up) 4) In fact runs away every single time Dojin tries to communicate with him, including when Dojin does the right thing and proposes!! Frankly, for all that Dojin was responsible for pushing himself on Hyesung and causing the pregnancy, he at least tried his level best to make up for it and right wrongs. Considering how Hyesung treated him and what Hyesung put him through, I honestly felt sorry for Dojin the whole time and definitely feel that he deserves someone better than Hyesung - someone who would care as much about him in return and doesn’t take him for granted.

Wtf was the ending LOL - it started off pretty promising and had a pretty sexy premise, but from about midway it suddenly jumped from 0% to 100% on the relationship front and the actual smut scenes were cheesy, awkward and far less sexy than the actual “tease” filming bits. So weird.

Surprisingly sweet and super wholesome despite the premise, and thankfully absolutely minimal angst/complications despite the setup being based on a lie.

Up to & incl. ch54 - ugh, why are you encouraging the demon king to screw his two underlings as well Isn’t it bad enough he’s prostituted himself to so many already - I know manager is in denial but is there anyone who enjoys seeing their crush being used this way, even if it’s for work……

Up to & incl ch 28 - thank god the hyung, Yuhan and ex so far are all nice people, and Woowon is finally starting to fall for Seoan. But what happened to Woowon spotting Seoan’s crush on him and basically keeping him at arm’s length before??? Suddenly he doesn’t seem sure?

up to & incl. 22 - the Nergal chapters are my favorite, as expected (ch20-21 were SO good) and the kissing mania reminded me a bit of Quincy/Eiden! I thought this would be our main ship and Nergal gives me main guy vibes, but that last bit with him saying Deus/Beryl can rape Leon again smh so disappointing. I was gunning for Nergal being Leon’s former lover or something
