Killing Stalking
just to make clear killing stalking is not a yaoi/bl it is a psychological thriller. this messed up my mind. why did that wife's husband that was another victim have such similar wounds we saw as sangwoo when he was rescued? does bum die by being hit by a car? he's so messed up mentally im not sure he could ever recover or live a life without abuse. sangwoo and bum did make a promise to both die, perhaps a tragic ending like this is the best option. its been weeks i'm still traumatized.
Back to School
this was an emotional rollercoaster all the way through. I wont lie its not easy for me to cry but when Jihyun is in the car after waiting at the hospital and looks back and sees Chiwoo and begins crying i started to as well. this was really good and the details put into each character makes me cherish it even more.
Royal Servant
i was hesitant to read this since several comments said they dropped it. however, i enjoyed it a lot the art style was my type and the plot was interesting. although. i hope the two relationships aren't disturbed again its upsetting to think one will outlive the other. i was hoping for a good ass-kicking knife scene from kyon. i was getting angry at how poorly lucaon treated kyon but i was happy to see him grow into a more aware charcater, in my opinion, it's hard to believe he will continue to smile and be happy after kyon is gone. for sihan and karis i think they we very cute and i hope all would have gone well if the story was to have continued.
Body Complex
this was really good. i love music and this concept was very interesting compared to the other piano manga i read call “jazz for two” (which i highly recommend). anyways the author did an incredible job and created a beautiful story. i just wish it wasn’t over, it could have been longer. we could have seen jaehyun playing around the world with seojin while the professor minwoo watches from afar. i would have loved to read where jaehyun has become successful and independent while being loved and treated right. however, this is the end so in all of this being said even though the story ended so abruptly i really enjoyed each chapter.
Ten Count
it’s good but it’s not great. i’ve seen many videos and comments saying how amazing and life-changing it was but I do not feel that way. it made me feel anxious and irritated more than anything. the plot was good and the characters were nice but still could be better. perhaps it’s because I have mental illnesses and my day has a pattern which if I mess it up I feel like my walls will collapse. or perhaps it’s because the list of the mcs 10 things were things I don’t do, I cannot drink after someone, even my own mother. I don’t like people touching my things and I don’t like touching other people's things. I wash my hands and use sanitizer regularly. I also have a weak immune system so I also suspected these to be part of my defense system against illness but it may be linked to my messed up mind. I was raised by a single mother and we have a close bond, the mc and his father simply seemed close I don’t understand why that ugly girl made it weird. having deep connections with parents is important and helps shape you as a person. the seme was attractive but I would not have liked to be pushed out of my boundaries so much, it’s good to help people but his approach could be better. the story felt unsatisfying but I’m happy the mc took steps forward. the author did well.
Interview with a Murderer
in the end, they were both twisted. they were both wartime in a story that was nearly poetic. alex killed not out of anger or hatred he did it to entrap the feeling of those that loved and cared for him. was he a killer of course but in a way it was beautiful. i wonder if people will tie the murders stopping and the author of those books stopping. i wonder if things will be connected or if clark will continue living his life as dark as the killer that loved him. how he interacted with alex and how he was almost always a step ahead of him. he knew how to give alex exactly what he wanted and also take it all away without any facial expressions. even, in the end, no one but him knows the real story. It's as if clark is keeping alex hidden and now he’s just another book in his collection of many.
