My soul, my entire being is being ripped apart. it’s been a long time since I’ve felt this much pain reading a manhwa, the characters are beautiful. That’s basically the perfect word to describe this manhwa, beautiful. it’s beautifully sad and wonderful. I hope they both find their happiness. Seeing Lyle break apart like that really destroyed me. All the wonderful memories he had with Ash absolutely crushing him, like a cracked glass under pressure finally shattering. Though his reaction to that breaking moment wasn’t a complete break down of his sanity it was the first time he cried with such an empty expression, that was the breaking point in which tears piled into my lashes as the dripped down into my sheets as I held my mouth in hoping I didn’t sob… This manhwa didn’t make me think about life as it was fantastical but it did make me empathize. Many moments I would thrust myself out of bed holding my chest as the pressure that piled up got to much. Every happy moment I know would somehow end in tragedy as Lyle approached his engagement. And when Ash said that Lyle and Him were “nothing” it killed me. I have literally no negative things to say when it comes to how the author built up Ash and Lyle’s relationship. Absolutely beautiful. 12/31/22: I’m very happy to see Ash realize his feelings for Karlyle but there is work to be done. To see Ash’s heart ache for Karlyle it hurts me even though I know he did this to himself. But honestly it fair that he didn’t realize his feelings sooner some people just don’t know what they feel sometimes, I understand that very much so. I feel an ending coming near and a bittersweetness envelopes me. I wish for their happiness more than anything else. 1/11/23: Just read the season finale of season 2, i prayed to any author god out there to not cause me more pain and I’m glad it didn’t end in pain. I’m so excited for the next season I want to see Karlyles response so badly oh god. I cant wait. I’m so glad Ash ended up telling Karlyle ngl i was expecting some type of “i love you” or something else but no he really said “sometimes people do stupid things when they fall in love”. I’m not really sure how to gauge Karlyles reaction I. The characters are speaking in tongues and though I love symbolism I don’t have enough brain cells to decipher whatever the fuck they are talking about rn, all I wanna see is them MADLY in love so mad that are on the brink of insanity and have so much inner turmoil which we live anyways I really wanna see the scribbles on their chest and hip to become beautiful. Edit: In the end the scribbles meant nothing for the story line but it was nice nonetheless. This story was mind boggling everything was expressed in symbolism and mess there was no communication for like the first half the entire story but somehow they still understood each other in a way. I wish there was more fluff ngl. EVERYTIME they say each other they had sex or drank like that’s a bit much bro like at least talk to each other ;-;
