The art is so beautiful and the story is amazing, I have reread this manga twice

Are mushi insects, parasites, plants, viruses, or nature spirits? Described as "neither good nor evil, they are life in its purest form. An unseen river shaping the path of man, through their presence our life is changed." No one seems to know much about their origins, except that they've been around since the beginning of time. Possibly set in Meiji/late 19th century Japan, Mushishi is a series of related, yet separate short stories featuring Ginko, a mushishi. A mushishi or "mushi master" is a cross between a researcher/scholar/doctor/shaman who travels across the countryside searching for mushi in their many forms. Ginko wanders from town to town to find people, young and old who are affected by the mushi. Very fluffy with a seme who respects Yunho is a vocalist of a rock band with a painful past of losing all of his family in a car accident when he was just a little boy. Love this story! Does so many things right and I love the character development even if it is fast. Interesting plot of fated lovers and not too overdramatic Minjae’s been dumped. When Minjae rushes home and runs into Hye-Eun and her gorgeous new man, Woochan, at the airport, drama ensues. Amidst the chaos, the two love rivals bang heads. Great vampire story that is different from the usuall tropes in Yaoi and vampires. Great psychological stuff and power struggles that make the story interesting. Love the side characters and of course our MC is a the best badass uke I've seen. Great relationship between the main pair that goes against usual tropes.
