The protagonist is a man who could want nothing more in his life - he considers himself perfect. Though "wanting nothing more" can also mean "being bored." Yes, despite how utterly flawless he finds his own company, it doesn't seem to fulfill him. But when a celebration ornament flies in his face, he has a fated run in with the boy of his dreams. He fantasizes about this boy's smile to the point of utter delusion. Then, on another fateful day, he decides to unearth the truth about this mystical boy, the one who has been the death of his self-righteous ego. The journey is hilarious.
