Aka, a novelist, has been able to see ayakashi since he was little. Because of all of the ayakashi around him, Aka did not get along with humans. The only one who stayed around him was his now deceased dog, Shiro. One day, he meets an ayakashi that looks similar to Shiro. This ayakashi, Rintaro, is a mysterious being who likes humans and is engaged in social life as a person. Moved by the bright sun-like Rintaro, Aka's awareness changes little by little. However, one day, Aka is suddenly told by Rintaro that he loves him!?

It's a bit unusual, but a man moves in next door to a novelist that's on the rise, and because of that, something about the novelist is changing bit by bit. And eventually, this story will reach its end.

So sweet. Gloomy author is visited by an exploring little kid who just can't leave him alone. Overtime the author becomes more attached to the kid until he misses him when he's gone. They're seperated when the boy moves overseas, but the boy promises to return one day and they keep in touch over the years until that time. This was really nice for age gap story. I hope there's another chapter of them being cute together!

The main is good but the 3 shorts are weird and i didn't care to them.
