How to Avoid Debut
Really interesting idea and the first half was actually pretty good. Unfortunately, the other half was full of squeezed swift half-baked conflicts, they were like separated scenarios and not polished together well. Also, apart from a few tidbits & last part, this felt like bromance than BL for me but hey I didn't really mind. Still, I enjoyed the first half and wish the "How to avoid debut" part was longer.
Kiss Shite Sugar-kun!
So freakin good. I also believe that this is more of a shounen ai rather than yaoi. I love how carefree they progress but also intimate and just how they're able to incorporate that to their own problems at the time. The derp faces of the seme was really funny too. Such a fun read.
Karasugaoka Don't be shy!!
Cuteeeeeeeee. Really love Sou! It felt a bit cut off tho. Would love to see more of their dynamic after. There's a sequel but also ended abruptly unfortunately.
Akari to Kare wa Nayamashii
A spin off, that's answered a few things. Tbh other than the huge emphasized age gap, this was pretty good. Can relate to Akari in so many ways but made it cuter. The extra was pretty cute too. Like the flow, it felt natural. Altho the seme can sometimes also feel a bit flat in everything. I think the plot fit on mature types, that's why it's easy to forget about the settings if not from the few times specific ages were mentioned. The art was a bit confusing tho as there're parts that two chara looks the same. Still.. good.
Park Hanhoo's Manager
I can't believe I hold off this for so long. "My tomorrow became you" is now my new favorite love call. I love this so much. How elaborate the details and plot was, all connected, experimented well. The characters wasn't lacking either, everyone was interesting in their own ways but esp love the MC. There's just constant progress and character development everywhere. I don't think I put it well in words but overall such a great read.
Hayama-sensei no Dakimakura
Really adore the MC. His character was really fun and complimenting the ML's even their art designs. So much fluff atmosphere with little romance. They could pass off as friends. I don't get the point of the ex in their situation esp since they didn't give and get much from it. Still cute.
Innocent wo Kegasu Kiss
No words. I just love this. I like how they tackle the intense anger to loneliness and the portrayal of the two different side like they're both in the right and valid rather than one be a bad guy more than the other. The deep feeling of anguish when Sirius found out was amazingly drawn. Appeciated the character designs too, they cute! Just "this makes sense" feeling all throughout.
Mermaid's Egg
Oh man the last minute lore was really interesting, too bad they rushed it plus the baby. Hoping for sweet and fluffy extras. This was a funny ride, mostly comedic that shouldn't be taken seriously. There are some frustration that wasn't settled pointing at the shameless villagers who's constantly saved and forgiven, totally not deserved. But the bickering and darling moments of mcs were entertaining and cute actually so not bad for a casual read.
