FL gets isekai-ed into a novel she was reading b4 going to sleep and woke up in that world. She wakes up as the villian's step mother who abused the villian, which ultimately lead to her death by his hands. FL decides to try to change her fate bc she doesn't want to die so she decides to protect/care for him instead. The ML is the father of the future villian (Ain). Just finished reading up to ch 3 and OMGGGG Ain definitely acts differently when his mom is not around so I can see why the Duke ,(ML) was confused on why our FL called him kind and adorable.
