Despite the dark themes in this story it is still so good! I love Na-Kyum and he deserves to be LOVED and PROTECTED! Seungho is an asshole and I don’t like him...BUT WHY DOES HE HAVE TO BE SO HOT?! We don’t talk about Inhun...he is on another level I can only hope for more development in Na-Kyum and Seungho’s relationship!

Y’all know how much I love MDZS so obviously this gets 5 stars! It’s similar to the novel which I really appreciate since the original novel is my favorite. The art is stunning and the expressions give me a good laugh :D

I really like this manhua alot! It is very intresting and has got some good art! It reminds me of MDZS a little with all of the historical and supernatural aspects...I love it! These characters are so beautiful, they’ve got good story and development...Ye Li is one of the most beautiful men I’ve ever seen It kept me interested and was never boring to be honest, I want to see more soon!

I really loved reading this story and honestly I’m a sucker for mythology so this was very interesting! I like the characters and the whole story. Everyone has their flaws and I like that, the story itself is fucked up and crazy with many twists and turns. There is incest involved which I don’t personally condone BUT since it’s ancient Egypt and incest between gods was common I will let it slide, such things shouldn’t take away from a good story like this one. Lastly I will say...GIVE SETH A HUG DAMMIT! He’s been through enough ;(

I’m sure you can already guess that anything MXTX is on my 10/10 list Anyways, I really love HOB and I wanted to read the manhua after finishing the novel. Many say that the manhua is hard to understand unless you’ve read the novel beforehand. Tbh it isn’t that hard to comprehend but my dumb ass would probs not understand much if I read this without reading the novel first! It skips a few things but nothing too major so I’m fine with it. I love the pacing of the story and I love most of all the art that looks like someone descended from heaven, took a blessed pencil and began to draw ️

Yep! You saw it, this isn’t a BL nor is it romance! I never read stuff that doesn’t have at least some romance involved but this story is an exception I guess :) I watched the anime after Tik Tok recommended it to me and it took only 2 days to watch the 11 episodes currently out (new season is confirmed soon). I loved this anime so much so I read the manga, usually I don’t take the time to read a manga of an anime but this just caught my eye. I love the mystery, the story and all questions that are posed, what’s good and evil? What will you do for freedom and equality? Is sometimes the only way violence and lies? Idk if this makes any sense but that’s the best way I can describe it. Right now the only stories I’m as invested in as this one is MXTX’s novels, that’s very meaningful actually! Anyways, a five outta five :D I can’t wait for more and when new episodes of the anime come out I will be screaming out of happiness, so much is happening and I want to see if they really can change the world, this class system and reach freedom and equality for all in the end. Btw, art is stunning and I love the dynamic between Willian and Sherlock! (even though they are kinda enemies)
