Although I’ve read a couple of webtoon about witches this is still pretty interesting. Still, the prejudice some people have with witches frustrates me. They speak so harshly as if all witches are evil and wrongdoers. I hope Amelie will be able to live a better life while in the emperor’s castle unlike in the previous life of the original Amelie who got bullied by even the palace maids and died from a miserable death.

This is quite a sad read. Women in this webtoon are treated like mere objects, easily changeable when they are not needed anymore and will be sold to some other man like livestock. It's infuriating. I somehow feel bad for the female lead even if she resorted to having an 'affair' in exchange for flitting satisfaction. The male lead is equally infuriating. You are not willing to love your wife because of her family, yet you are not willing to let her have any other partner aside from yourself, what a selfish man. I still hope the divorce won't push through and that their relationship can gradually become better and more cordial. Or maybe the divorce is something for the better? I don't know, I'll just keep reading this whenever there's an update.
