Liebling!
This story is so unreasonable, there's people dying by the hundreds, but the characters just wanna fuck and swim in their emocional mess (that is also unreasonable and inconsistent, their feelings and emotional crisis always feel fake and are just plot devices to "move" the story [wich doesn't really happen. They change places/time period, but the story doesn't really move much {or does.. in distubing, cruel and unreasonable way...]). I don't understand why the author fucked all the characters so bad, at this point - hapter 61- feels like either everyone is either gonna die (a horrible death) or have to live in awful angst til the rest of their lives (especially Noah, his origins and the things that happened to him are simply horrifying). There's issues with the writing/building of the story too, the emperor thing, for example: I spent a huge chunk of the story thinking that Noah was a prince of some sort, because this emperor wannabe thing just doesn't make sense. And the witches, the author established a rule about the parent's soul thing, and then made Leo an exception (??) right after, for no good reason, and now there's the weird ass demon/curse thing. It's just so fucking confusing and inconsistent!! This makes me so fucking mad!!!! I was starting to like some of the character and suddenly it just became a gorey shit show. I wish I could stand it a bit more, to see the end of everything, but I can't, it became too disturbing for me. I'm disapointed :(((
Suddenly Became a Princess One Day
Honest Thoughts (may have spoilers): Just finished binge reading and I don't how to feel... I love Athy and her antics, her inner reactions (specially when she's thinking about Claude), her personality, everything, I really, really want my baby to be happy. About the other characters, I like Ezekiel, but dislike his low-key obsessive behavior... Lucas is annoying but I feel like his and Athy's personalities go really well together, really hoping for this ship to sail. And about Jeanette well... she's is... meh... I don't know, I don't hate her, but don't realy like her either (I do like the fact that unlike other manhwas of the genre, her personality is still the same as in the original book - and that she's not the only one -, author was consistent, but also managed to add depth to all the charactes without butchering the storyline).. In the beginning I hesitated a lot to read it because I saw some things about Claude, but now that I read it, even tho I think he's foolish af, I kinda understand why he did what he did, especially after he started to remember about his childhood and all, when you connect everything we were shown about him (abusive stepmother, caring brother during childhood, that somehow became a jealous and psychotic monster as an adult and that hoe of a fiancé), it becomes obvious that he loved Diana more than life (i mean, he prefered to live as corpse than cope with a reality in wich she was no more), loosing her was the last straw, and evem tho it doesn't justify his actions, I can see his pain and sympathize.
