Last read: 137 I want to read the novel later! It’s completed. This is actually one of the best ones I’ve ever read. The mc has morals but is realistic and likable, there are solid goals he’s trying to achieve, he’s making steady progress, the obstacles in his path are not immediately or easily overcome and some will take more time, and he values and utilizes past and new friendships/relationships. And his friends don’t overshadow him but they’re not useless either. The characters are all great and even the villains occasionally have nuance (in the case of some of their origins). If there’s a romance with one of the female characters I’d honestly be fine with it because they’re all very well-developed. The pacing is also amazing.
