Kozure Omega to Boukun Yakuza
Meh, standard tropes, didn't even like it really.
Kono Te wo Hanasanai de
While I don't love the typical "omegas get assaulted" trope present here, the unbelievably gorgeous art and the very NOT clichéd characterizations of both main characters made it worth the ick factor.
Omegaverse – Kimi ga Nozomanai Sekai
Smutty omegaverse one shot.
Ai da, Koi dano Shouhosen
Very interesting omegaverse, basically a grounded take on the trope. Huh, 6.5 and it's over?! I guess that's normal, but it felt like it was going to be longer haha. Ah, comments say there's a Vol 2. That makes more sense.
Seku Tsuga
FANTASTIC ARTIST!! As omegaverse bl goes, this was shockingly light on all the standard tropes! It's much more focused on the romance and the catching feelings, and totally plays against the class discrimination stuff. I wish it was longer, but ita a nice little story regardless! Definitely check their other work and the other manga people liked.
Ookami-sama no Ichizu na Bouai
Honestly, I just got bored with it. The human omega half of the couple is STILL lacking self confidence in the relationship and questioning if his husband remembers what he said about wanting children... 2 years I tho their marriage?! Pass. Also there's some pointless dubcon at the beginning. It's not like Titan's Bride, where there was a cultural misunderstanding. The beastman just carried him home and had his way with him. :/
Oredakeno Senzoku Alpha
Meh. Has nice relationship development, but a tropey assault backstory for the omega, and continues with more drama in the second part (ch 7-) with the son of the abusive alpha from the past. Won't be continuing.
With Your Guidance
Complaints about SA should get over themselves tbh. There's actually a thoughtful story here in that the company has protections in place for alphas and omegas, and the omega boss keeping his secondary gender secret rendered them useless. The alpha is also conscientious of how society gives him a pass for behavior like assaulting an omega because of a rut, and doesn't like it. I may come back and finish this one day, but right now I'm not in the mood.
Ruby Red wo Kamikudaku
Omegaberse with an extra supernatural twist. I liked it! I also liked Makise's emphasis on *not* being Junta's teacher anymore. Please de-emphasize that, yes. Hopefully I'll get to read the sequel one day, and Kaname's story will be told. I'm still iffy in whether Makise's is really a beta or not. Typically it just turns out they're a late bloomer, but if he really IS a beta, there better not be any 'fated pair' love triangle BS. Anyway, I liked this a lot!
Syuuchaku Alpha no Chioukyou Method
