Beast of Blood
Technically omegaverse in most respects, plus other supernatural like sirens and vamps. Lots of interesting worldbuilding! Lots of gender and sexual fluidity!
Over Squall
Natsuro's story after Wander Border! Poor guy got landed right in the middle of some serious drama with Tsuyuhiko but they get a happy ending.
Naked Sword and the Tree Peony of Black
It's Yukue Moegi, it's gold. Even making the scar a symbol of their mutual feelings in the end?! what service that was.
Kono Te wo Hanasanai de
While I don't love the typical "omegas get assaulted" trope present here, the unbelievably gorgeous art and the very NOT clichéd characterizations of both main characters made it worth the ick factor.
Kimi ni Ienai Koto ga Aru
I want to rate this higher but it's really 3.5 at best. It has a good message but it still feels surface level somehow. Like it's 6 chapters, but it feels more like 4 in terms of content. It's very heavy on the emotional toll and yet the resolution doesn't feel as satisfying. The pacing I guess? It's all happens too fast, not enough to really gut punch you with the feels. Oh well. It's still good! Just fast.
Zetsubou ni Nake
Not into the angst but I'm curious about the story because of their other manga. Skimmed ch 5 and 10, see how it ends before deciding whether to read the whole thing. I dunno, I'm getting big Banana Fish with Yakuza and corporations vibes as of 2.11... :/ Aaaaand they both lived! Happy ending lol. I skipped all the in between details though so it's just kinda... Yay, I guess? I don't intend the read the whole angsty story any time soon tbh, so I won't give it a rating.
A Proud Wolf's Awkward Love Affair
This is great! They're such a power couple <3
Please, Marry Me!!
Both are coworker couples. The first one is kinda lame. FWB, bottom is oblivious and doesn't take the top's constant declaration of feelings seriously. Pretty annoying. Second couple has an odd dynamic, but it's good in the end. Established couple, HUGE gap moe! A bit short, but pretty good.
Omae ga Baka o Iidasu Hi ni wa
There's definitely something special about this author, though they still fall into the trope of the gay character in gay/"originally straight" couples being the bottom. But that aside, the comedy and more realistic/casual behavior and personalities of the cast is super refreshing.
Omae ni Dakareru Nante Kittenai!
