Gunjou no Subete
Ah, mutual pining. This is wonderful in that both characters are on the same page in terms of disbelief that their feelings could be mutual, and awkwardly happy when they've cleared the air. They're very well-suited as friends that fell in love.
Shinyuu no
A cute little friends to lovers plot, plus mutual pining/unrequited love. Not as peak as my absolute favorite one of these, but in the same vein, and with a similar confession (though less dramatic).
Wait in Bed Tonight
This was an EXTREMELY delicate size difference BL, but I think they pulled it off much better than I expected. Accepting that there are, undeniably, shota/lolicons that will get off to this sort of thing for the "wrong" reasons, the reality is that there are people IRL who get mistaken for being much younger than they are. At least in this case the characters are the same age, and their behavior and personalities are shockingly and refreshingly realistic. Also!! They're an established couple that had never faced societal rejection. Everyone around them from friends to family has been accepting AND supportive from the beginning. Truly amazing. I'm actually bumping this to 5 stars instead of 4 just for that. Inspirational good vibes. Lastly, to find a big dick trope AND friends recognizing that's a sexual barrier not a bonus AND realistic portrayal of the bottom needing significant preparation ANNNNND the top is enthusiastically involved?? Honestly I'm not sure what else this could de besides not be what it is. Sure the bottom could be less of a baby face, but they are and that's just the way it is for this story.
Osananajimi (♂) to no Arekore.
Dnf after ch4, honestly it just got boring. Their feelings are mutually confessed right away, the rest of it is figuring out how to have sex while using bl manga for reference and it's lame. It's so centric on the (presumed) top being overly horny (although the (presumed) bottom is also horny).
Zantei, Koibito
This one has all kinds! Most of it is the office couple, flowed by some oneshots. It's pretty matter of fact about it, once the characters accept their feelings, there's no going back haha. Refreshing in that way.
