Not into the angst but I'm curious about the story because of their other manga. Skimmed ch 5 and 10, see how it ends before deciding whether to read the whole thing. I dunno, I'm getting big Banana Fish with Yakuza and corporations vibes as of 2.11... :/ Aaaaand they both lived! Happy ending lol. I skipped all the in between details though so it's just kinda... Yay, I guess? I don't intend the read the whole angsty story any time soon tbh, so I won't give it a rating.

It had a good throughline and a happy ending for the unrequited love, but uses assault as a plot device TWICE!! Lame.

Leans heavily on the trope of a boy being forced to live as a girl (including being assaulted as a child), but is good nonetheless. It's a painful reality that Arima almost certain never received the kind of support and therapy he needed.

Old school slapstick and the second story has stupid assault trope.

A "comedy" one shot about a seme being forced to bottom by a more macho seme that likes him. No thanks.

I wish I could rate this higher and lower, as in I wish they were two different stories. The plot-contrived noncon is a dramatic element handled pretty well, but it's increasingly unpleasant to read, especially at the end when the other mage (who also has an incest subplot!!) tricks the MC into a gangbang. Ew, no. Contrast this with the MC and his best friend navigating the new boundaries of their friendship and falling in love, and the culmination of switching so the mage can lose his virginity (the 'proper' way, I guess

5/13/25 Uhhhhhh this one just wants to gloss over the fact that Fumichi is getting assaulted on the regular at his job, seemingly with the knowledge of his employers. The single dad cuteness is totally out of place. I read all of it but it wasn't good, the art is just nice.
