Boring and really frustrating. Isshin is a bad male lead so is the best friend all the character are annoying expect futaba and her friend but they are kids soo. The ex wife lied to her employees making isshin out to be a cheater which is just so weird like girl move on it’s been so long he don’t like you also idk what’s up with the streamer but she’s also annoying. People in this story think it’s okay to cross boundaries just because u like someone. Also this manga set itself up to be this feminist mc breaks Japanese misogyny/societal norms but that’s only in the first maybe second chapter. It’s outright hypocritical with the literal male lead reinforcing them all them time and not even acknowledging them coz he’s just a stoic cold man ugh. All he does is make fucking tea. Moreover the female lead is willing to ignore all that and is a complete doormat, while I don’t like stories celebrating female characters who are toxic in the name of being a “badass”/“strong” fmc this isn’t good either, like where’s the character development ???? Let’s not even talk abt her brother like…
