I love the first few chapters where tou rejects shizuka’s advances, especially knowing what tou was going through. (And big yay bc finally an mc with a backbone,, set those boundaries tight bff!!) A platonic ending would have been completely understandable too. But then chapter 5/6 happened and i just left the progression to god atp LMAO
Its a very bittersweet ending, in a way its a realistic approach. Sometimes justice doesnt come the way you want and you just have to live with that trauma forever for the sake of others and it fucking sucks. I want to give tou a hug so bad. Im kinda hoping the author considers on doing a second volume bc the characters, (especially shizuka im looking at u dawg) has so much room for growth bc im ngl with u shizuka kinda a pos loser LMAO like i love the groveling golden retriever ml trope but shizuka just gives me the ick bc of how lightly he speaks of women like sure ik its fiction but with such a heavy and sensitive topic like this, its peculiar to see how the author wrote shizuka’s character the way it is lmao oh well maybe its the contradictory of it all who knows
