This is going straight to my top 5 stories that has beautiful story telling with equally heart wrenching pacing and paneling. Author aced these three with flying colours bc in each back story or narrative and dialogue hanhoo had / chansol had, it was SO heartbreaking and filled with yearning i just love it so so much. And the characters feel alive they feel so so fucking solid they have amazing depth to their actions and personality and thats so fucking cool bc the artstyle is so clean and simple making you think that you wouldnt be That immersed or invested in the plot BUT UR WRONG the art suits the pacing so much and it just adds so much to the mood of the story. God i fucking love it so so much its fucking insane. I can maybe like, only count on one hand of bl stories where they have GORGEOUS story telling with amazing pacing and dialogue. Like the ones in my mind that i vividly remember bc of how much it left an impression on me is this, kings maker and Green apple paradise. Absolute stellar story telling by the author. I also LOVE how the author went about chansol’s suicide plan and didnt brush it off. Another thing i really love is that the author doesnt spoonfeed the plot to the readers, and u mostly read between the lines like how hanhoo perceives chansol vice versa and u also pick bits and pieces of how much the orphanage massacre traumatised chansol; who may look like hes fine and dandy on the outside but is actually self destructive as fuck and the way hanhoo comes about knowing this plan of his???? Fucking fantastic yo GOD I just fucking love everything about this story its insane 10/10 just A+ level story telling

OH TENS ALL AROUND AHHH oh this is everything to me, the childhood friends, the devoted love filled with pining and yearning, the whole premise AND THE DYNAMIC AUGHGGHHHHHHHHHHHHH everything scratches the best part of my brain its SOOO fucking good and i LOVE both the mc and ml so much especially the ml not only is he fine as all hell (the curly long hair, all suited up OHHHHHHHH) BUT HELLOOO the selfless sacrifice the longing EVERYTHINGGGGGGGGG AHHH slap a thru and thru yakuza/gangster setting and chara A mafia guy who is head over heels over their lovely twink and SAY LESS I WILL ALWAYS BE ONBOARD this is my bread and butter fr I EAT THIS SHIT Author truly opened their third eye when they wrote this like??? The whole chinese mafia setting,,, the outfits!!!! PURRR 10/10 that was spectacular like it was cliche but in the best fucking way possible LIKE IM HERE FOR A GREAT TIME and author delivered exactly that YEAH like show me the grunginess and awfulness of mafia life and how brutal and gruesome it is AND let love prevail despite everything YEAH BITCH THATS WHATS IM TALKING ABOUT ITS JUST CLICHE DONE ABSOLUTELY RIGHT RAHHH i fucking loved every moment of this AHHHH im so happy i read this . Made my entire day tbh.

drags hand over face/ theres layers to this that i like and dont like. i rlly LOVE the pacing of everything. Yes it’s slowburn but its still bearable to me (i Think lol) and its slice of life bl too ofc i will be tuned in. Its all very cute!! BUT i feel so bad for kakeru simply bc poor guy is rlly trying his best to figure out their relationship and his own feelings (bless his heart) all the while the people around him keep putting him down in such a demeaning way, its getting rlly frustrating to see them be ? mean to him, like i get pissed for him lol. I have Thoughts about yamato bc yes hes an airhead and hes endearingly whipped for kakeru but dear god i hope his character development where he rlly tries to express his feelings (from himself and for kakeru) is expanded more bc by the look of things, kakeru’s self esteem is so low and having words of affirmations from yamato would help a Lot!!!!!!! Like a lot!!!! Matter of fact they both need to give each other words of affirmation!!!! In terms of side characters, i LOVE yui thank you god finally a character that sets shit straight into perspective for yamato good lord. Love him. Adore him. The most sensible character ever. Big kudos to him. What would we do without him. Every time he shows up on screen to speak some truth a part of my blood pressure calms down. I LOVE HIM!!! Its a good read, not a favourite but its okay! a good 6/10. The biggest tldr/takeaway here is: heteronormativity and internalized homophobia are truly the villains of this manga LMAO

SO DAMN CUTE AHHHHHHHH no unnecessary drama just pure fuwa fuwa goodness its so so cute, the domesticity of it all is ADORABLE, natsukawa truly best wife

The art was good at the beginning but slowly towards chapter 50 the proportions and perspectives hve gotten a bit wonky. Overall its a good and lighthearted isekai rofan per usual, nothing out of the ordinary. I was rlly hoping that erin could atleast travel overseas a bit like claire and then coming back to aiden with more security to her feelings. aiden’s desperation was fun to read BUT now that everythings kinda resolved, future conflicts/plot points is kinda making me lose interest lol i dont see any point to be invested, feel like the story is shut and done the moment erin decided to be together with aiden no matter what. Feels more like im reading the side stories rn
