Characters are well written to the high heavens my god i love how the story has eric’s perspective most of the time, hes such a genuine, kind guy that in the eyes of the court he seems peculiar instead. Thats such an interesting theme, how kindness in a world where shallow callousness prevails, seem odd and worrying. Eric’s character is just gentle kindness personified, hes so sweet with miesa and the gradual relationship development they both have feels so fulfilling. I love how sensitive and attentive the author is when they expanded miesa’s character and trauma, its not a one time thing brush under the rug kind of thing, like miesa is genuinely having a hard time reconnecting with her emotions that when eric shows her basic decency, she just shuts down and panics :( my heart breaks for her so much and just like eric, i feel so protective of her!!!!!!!!!!!! The court intrigue and drama is so well written it gave me solid anxiety and unease LMAO it really puts into perspective how things can be dangerous at any time especially given eric’s family’s position in the royal food chain. Like the stakes are there, the outliers sabotaging shit is actually stressful????? I want those two maids to dye like genuinely. Its one of those stories where i dont know what the end is gonna be like, i rlly just want the king to die, let the survived salakeze kid take the throne and let eric and miesa live this peaceful life together…. Another nice touch is how GOOD eric and miesa for each other. Eric whos been carrying the family burden in place of his father finally has someone he Wants to protect and care for. He gets to indulge miesa who expects absolutely nothing of him in return and miesa whos been treated so brutally, finally is received the kindness and gentleness thats been long due!!!!!!!!!! Theyre great for each other!!!!!!!! And eric being in constant communication with miesa is just the cherry on top really. Romantic chemistry is off the roof btw, the late night talks the author writes, the dialogue is so so well written and intimate. I love it so much????? Those moments make it so apparent to why theyre growing to love each other bc theyre just so gentle together!!!!! And the kisses!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Had me feeling breathless like WOW!!!!!! Thats how u write intimacy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Its so good!!!!!!!!!!!!! Ch28 rn and im gonna wait for solid tls to drop bc the elegance in the dialogue and phrasing adds so much depth to the story too… atmosphere and pacing is amazing it made me hella immersed. art is bgorgeous. Couple chemistry is wonderful. Characters are well written and eric is just a dream come true weaved into a man. U walk in to the Best Rofan ML of The Year awards and u see him u just gotta call it wraps and pack it up bc no ones seeing him??? At all??? Shot up the tiers and claimed first place best ml like its nothing???? Look at him????? Love him with my whole heart….. Just 10/10 addicting page turner. Put her in the magnum opus shelf!!!

God its such a well written story with an amazing pacing to it. Like i have no qualms about it being a pure, self indulgent love story of a dragon waiting endlessly for his mate. Its so hopelessly romantic and to make something simple like this Good and enjoyable? Author won. Simple as that!!! Taehyuk and hyo un’s relationship developed so naturally and their dynamic is just so adorable. I love how level headed and charismatic taehyuk is versus hyo un’s pure uncontrolled teary eyed yearning …. They love eachother so much TT hyo un’s back story was so heart breaking, i loved the story telling and narrative voice in the backstory it just suits the folklore atmosphere so much it flowed so seamlessly to the next scene….. and GOD im such a sucker for human x immortal ESPECIALLY when the human has a set predetermined lifespan and is the immortal’s forever mate spanning thru reincarnations like AHHHHHHH my boy hyo un waited for 3 centuries……….. with everything he went through and seeing his lover dying (twice almost!) i personally would have killed myself LMAO. Like i could notttttttttt handle that mind numbing amount of yearning…..its so heart breaking… it explains hyo un’s standoffish and wary attitude in the beginning too….. my sweet dragon boy u deserve the world and more TT and i love how natural it was for taehyuk to fall back in love with hyo un… even after the amnesia, loving hyo un is the easiest thing for him to do its so TTTTT i wanna throw up bite a wall and fucking crybdhdjsj hyo un’s crocodile binghe tears is such a cherry on top too GOD i love crying mls so much u are so special to me… MOST OF ALL the sex scenes are fucking spectacular. AHHHH AHHHHHH ceres my sweet goodest puppy boy he can do no wrong………. Im so obsessed with the art style, the artist does the characters and atmosphere justice its just so beautiful? Author draws men so handsomely and the side characters are so pretty as well… the character design is a cherry on top especialy Aahhh so obsessed with diarin’s whole design, the priestess garb is so beautiful!!!!! Plot is building up and the relationship development ceres and diarin has is adorable, it rlly felt like diarin was about to pull a kagome and just yell at ceres “SIT BOY!” LMAO its so cute, i love how ceres finds so much comfort in diarin, and diarin is such a great mc!!!! Solid backbone and will do anything for that paycheck!!! Nothing more!!!!!! Love her!!!!!!! 10/10 def one of my favourite rofans now, im rlly excited to know more about the world building,,, especially the main couple’s development. So far the casual intimacy is making me melt, i love how ceres always clings and rests his head on diarin,,,, his emotional comfort life size plushy TT hes seriously so cute AHHHHHHHHH despite diarin’s reluctance about everything, she cares for ceres so much,, love her approach in handling hart too AHHH love her love her love how solid all the characters are i love this so much

God i love how fluid the dialogue and panels go with each other, the comedy in this is so well written every joke hit so well and the characters are so lovable. It was just straight up jokes and giggles up until ch15 and the tone shift for jinhyeong’s family situation and his severe social anxiety took such a turn it made me feel so bad for him. It was such an accurate portrayal of an anxious spiral, i love how the author depicted it. No wonder he moved in with uyun so quickly, i wouldve too :(( poor bub :(( the self sabotaging, denial and fear of emotional intimacy is so sad and real i feel called out LMAO author nailed that to a T. And bless uyun’s heart for accommodating to all of jinhyeong’s burst of energy. Buying dog mats so that he wont hurt himself when he crawls oh god jinhyeong u need to marry him like this is The One I NEED U TO LOCK TF IN!!!!!!!!!!!! Such a fun story with very well written dialogue and characters. Pacing is beyond perfect and i adore the top view layout of the room with them in different rooms in every chapter. Its so cute!!!! Idk how the author didnt make the Established Couple dynamic boring, its magical?? Each chapter is so fun. Couple dynamic is adorable and uyun being weirded out but still attentive and considerate towards all of jinhyeong’s burst of crazies and timeouts is so adorable and sweet like wow thats rlly the dream lover……….. jinhyeong just wanted someone who could tolerate all of him and hes so convinced no one will bc even his family couldnt do that then who will….. ohhhhh jinhyeong i want to look at u thru a microscope ure so blorbo material i love u so much………… sighhhhhhhhh such an addicting page turner i rlly need to let this marinate longer its way too damn good!!!!!!!!!!

Will never forget the first time i read this in my room hunched over my table at 3am just straight up binging up until the jeju arc in 2020, that memory is so vivid and left such an impression on me it was so good… def one of the reasons that made me love and venture more on reading more korean shounen(?) works :’) also made me believe that wow always read the webnovels first bc it will always be the best version of the story lol the Og even It isnt the most perfect manhwa; character wise (thought the novel fleshed it out much more better) but it does its job damn well for the overpowered mc trope. One of the best definitely! Love jinwoo’s relationship with his shadow soldiers and the shadow soldier’s lil antics is jsut adorable. Truly the highlight of the story. My only gripe is the romance and how poorly written the women are in the story lmao. Jinwoo’s chemistry with hae in was close to none. Itd have been better if he ended up with johee bc at least the history together is there. It’d make the romance flow more seamlessly too. Hae in’s character and attraction doesnt go and develop far other than bc jinwoo doesnt stink and its comical at how bad it wasdbbfb the date omake was so OOC from jinwoo i had to skip it bc it was clear the author was like Oh yeah i gotta convince yall that this is the female lead btw. Which was horribly donehdjd and hae in’s character was so poorly developed too she wasnt even in the story most of the time lmao. The artist’s rendition in drawing women pisses me off too in the epilogue like damn can yall draw women standing normally for once insanity… I had to really make up my own delusion fix it in my head on how the romance happened bc whew i would have lost my mind if i didnt lol like cmon yall why do shounen authors are so allergic to writing romance if u cant write it then dont???? And even if u do write it please have a shoujo author read it bc cmon now i swear it isnt as hard as it seems read kaiju no.8 and it baffled me how seamless the chemistry is for the main leads, hell even i was rooting for them!!!! It would have been so damn good if hae in was an important character that knows jinwoo’s conflicts and struggles intimately and vice versa. They could even have had an inside joke like how hae in always did the first move in the first timeline and when they parted during the final battle, hae in knows about jinwoo’s plan in resetting everything and despite struggling to let jinwoo go and handle it alone, she made a joke and tell jinwoo that Hey, i’ll wait for you and you better do the first move this time. Jinwoo could laugh kiss her and say definitely??? GIRL GET ME IN THE BETA PROOFREAD ROOM WHY DID I THINK OF A BETTER WAY FOR THEIR ROMANTIC CHEMISTRY TO FLOURISH THAN THE AUTHOR!!!!!!!!! RAHHH Welp its understandable i guess bc sometimes u can kinda tell the author has never felt a semblance of romance irl lol and clearly the story jsut intends on focusing more on jinwoo (side character relationships feel more like an after thought except for jinho lol) bc again aha solo leveling amirite. Then again, the novel kind of depicts his relationship with the other characters much better than the manhwa. His relationship with jinho was so sweet and intimate even LMAO might as well make jinho the endgame male lead for jinwoo lololol matter of fact jinwoos chemistry with the other male characters was so much more solid. HELL even that bit with thomas calling jinwoos strength beautiful is insane as well. Gonna have a great time in ao3 later LOL The ending gave me mixed feelings as well. I feel like it would have been such an interesting theme to explore to have jinwoo accept the hunter world as it is. Consequences happen and you have to live with it. And the main character list was still alive too except for gunhee. The ending really was so lonely and pitiful for jinwoo i remember feeling so incredibly sad for him lmao. I would love to read a fix it fic where jinwoo doesnt use the cup of reincarnation, it wouldve been so interesting to see how the world coped after it all and can be a theme on how humans despite everythjng are resilient beings who will do anything to protect what they love. Thats what makes the rulers fond of them too to protect them. I would have completely understood if jinwoo chose to rewind time IF his mom or sister (or hae in even) died during the attack and despite winning, He didnt feel like he won bc someone so important and pivotal to him died anyway. The mental breakdown leading up to it would have made the reasoning solid i think. Oh well! And i know his dad did die but his presence in the story was so … absent and didnt impact the plot that much it didnt feel like a big deal lmao hell, gunwoo’s death hit so much more harder. Even in the extras.. dang Anyway despite all of that its still a favourite of mine to reread. Though i’ll always get in a rant everytime i get closer to the romance or ending lol.. but then the sides would happen and i would be sated bc of how cute the shadow soldiers are LMAO beru tusk igris and bellion my babies i hope with the anime happening we’ll get plushies of them soon… Also side note jinwoo being a cop at the end is such a peculiar choice (but understandable i guess lol) all in all im happy it finally got an anime adaption. Gorgeous animation gorgeous VAs. 2020 me would have been ecstatic to know about the anime like wow i was DESPERATE for it to get an anime adaptation and IT REALLY DID…… love that for me im so happy.. solid 10/10, hype storyline with a very cool mc. ALRIGHTTTTTTT was so worried it’d go down the boruto route and have the mc and plot completely tarnished for the sake of a quick buck but omg so far its really good?? The plot is cooking really well and im intrigued. Im happy theyre expanding more on the outer gods plot. Surprisingly the manhwa is doing the story more justice from what ive seen. ppl are surprised at the changes from the novel and how the manhwa is doing it better and im all for it!!!! Especially for the scene where suho awakened the colleague skill with gray like hell yeah !! (Plus i love how refreshingly new suho’s approach and usage of the shadow skill; using the shadow as his gauntlets thats so fucking cool) Also Im so down for the plot to be suho and the other descendants of the monarchs work together to protect earth THATD BE SO GOOD and an interesting deviation from how jinwoo originally did things (completely solo) this time suho’s gonna be a mc who fights WITH others and i think thatd be so fun to see!!! And suho is so silly hes adorable a very lovable mc and his personality is so bright-earnest-shounen mc adjacent (especially his banters with beru aw) different than jinwoo’s lone wolf archetype and that makes the “combining monarch forces” plot so appealing!!!!! Cant wait to see suho’s reaction at jinwoo’s power at full blast lol like boy your dad’s powers are fucking OP lmao rlly wanna see if suho will ever know that his dad has technically went thru two lifetimes….. damn i rlly wonder how all of this will boil down to. RAHHHHHHHHH THIS STORY THE PACING!!!!!!!!!!!!!! THE PANELS!!!!!!!!!!!!! i love everything about this story, the main characters are so refreshing and down to earth. I love the changing perspectives going from hyunwook’s to wonyoung’s in the end. Most of all i just love the overall drama of the story being about these two people trying to move on from their first loves and how the way they handled their love lifes in reaction to it. Hyunwook’s confidence in thinking he Will be his first love’s endgame resulting in him being easy going and not treating it seriously vs Wonyoung’s overthinking and treating his infatuation with his first love Too Seriously causing him unable to connect with other relationships is so fucking good. Bc by the end of it, u can see them adapting each other’s characteristics in other to make Their relationship work. Hyunwook wanting to be more serious and wonyoung trying to be more open, Its such a satisfying character growth!!!! The characters feel so down to earth too as well as the conflicts. I feel so much for wonyoung and his struggle to move on from minseok especially in his situation where he doesnt have a support system other than minseok and how much that affected him. And bc hes gay, all the little things minseok unknowingly does still holds so much weight, it just becomes even more painful for him and makes letting go soo hard especially since hes been holding those feelings for 10 years. Its such a solid conflict for his character that is different from hyunwook with heeseo that i cant help but resonate more with. And i love how minseok doesnt turn out to be jerk, just an oblivious kind guy who views wonyoung as his brother and nothing more. I love how hyunwook was there to give wonyoung the hard truth about the situation. That scene where hyunwook realises that wonyoung and minseoks situation is much different than his and heeseo to the point its like their intertwined orbits is soooo fucking good!!!!!!!!! That realization that two of his loves, the past and present, navigating themselves more towards minseok whos caring and affectionate, something he isnt, is so satisfying LMAO it rlly put him into perspective and made him aim to be more open and affectionate with wonyoung GRRR its all done so fucking well God i have notes no complaints (other than hyunwook being a yapper LMAO) the gangster sub plot is decent as well if not just a bit rushed. The story’s dialogue, characters and atmosphere felt so mature and solid. The way they treated the one night stand, the rising climax of their relationship, the way hyunwook handled his confession Poorly and him trying to win wonyoung over, wonyoung being so worried about his future with hyunwook, AHHH everything is just so well written. The restaurant crime scene was such a fun escalation omg i wouldve loved if the author used more of that crime solving plot with wonyoung’s restaurant as the background/meeting spot to solve crimes lol i ate it all up enthusiastically!!! Wonyoung selling the restaurant is such a nice closure for him and AND my favourite is the intimate pillow talks AHHH its all so well done and executed their relationship feels so fucking solid, their vulnerability with each other is so sweet and meaningful. Dreamy sigh. Everything is 10/10. Sex scene was delicious, the anatomy and poses was stunning. Hyunwook stopping when wonyoung tells him to is so attractive AHHHHHH i just love this story so much. The romance, the banter, the dirty talk and hyunwook calling wonyoung pretty AHH!!! My god and the title drop was so nice too, it makes perfect correlation to the story, ; your seconds are just as exciting, maybe even more! It parallels rlly well with the theme too; a story about moving on and letting go of your first love. Its so bittersweet :’) The artist does such a great job with the panels and pacing. i fucking love u artist and author the absolute dream team. and god the conclusion of it was satisfying! It explores the perspectives in romantic and platonic relationships rlly well given the chapters it has. I hope we get extras def one of those stories that i think would be good as a kdrama!!
