i HIGHLY RECOMMEND reading this in batoto bc the insightful and mature discussions between all the readers there in each chapter was so fun to read and this story DESERVES to be dissected and discussed about bc it rlly feels like a parallel to our own gender and sexual identity issues in society. And its presented in such a raw and honest way, author really meticulously wrote this with their heart. Yes the satirical omegaverse tropes was hilarious in the beginning but then the parallels to the real world started to hit and its just heart wrenching atp bc its being told by our beta mc who is both so flawed yet open to learning the world around him despite his own insecurities and anxiety of being a beta vs the other alphas and omegas. He is such a complex and real character, all of the other characters are tbh, they all feel solid and vivid and real and its such a joy to read a mc who has a good sense of boundaries and is firm with it too even with the love interest. Its just so fucking well written man even the way author presented his flawed stereotypical misconception of alphas and omegas was so well done too, it all just boiled down to his low sense of self as a beta and his desire to protect himself from the mess of it all. Hes just so damn human. And dont get me started on the love interest/s MY GOODNESS. The arc with gido where they both admitted that they did have feelings for each other but was too scared to act on it was the most heart breaking thing ever. Right person wrong time with so much to lose :( and author once again delivered!! Bc instead of it turning complicated, they both accepted that with how they went about it, it probably wouldnt have turned out well. And accepted that both their feelings for each other have passed. And i was so shocked reading this arc bc it was resolved so gracefully like two actual adults who genuinely care for the other person. It was so good bc i started to root for sihyeon bc why he feeling like the second ml rn LMAO OHH sihyeon. Sihyeons character was so so fun and sweet and the greenest of greens. Hes absolutely smitten with mc and is SO patient in deconstructing the misconception mc has of the other genders. I fucking love him so much. Its funny bc at one point, the story rlly felt like an in depth deep dive study of mc. I want to study him under a microscope. Hes just so well written??? The magnum opus of mcs without a doubt. He knows what he wants and he knows his limits. To see him burnt out, stressed with his work environment and his ambiguous feelings for his boss who is pursuing him, he called it quits and said Yep off to hawaii we go. AND GOOD FOR HIM. IM SO HAPPY he actually got to have a break and went vacationing by himself. We actually FINALLY see a character who puts himself first in his mental health. Reading him is the most satisfying feeling ive ever felt for a character. Such a professional worker as well. I adore him. Now. Im gonna ignore the hell out of the 4 side stories bc honestly heetae is beyond redeemable. He was absolute SHIT towards his spouse. Just wack ass dookie behaviour and im SO happy to see mc telling the spouse to divorce him. The spouse’s divorce dialogue was such a satisfying read. (Personally i would have aborted the baby and sent the abortion results to heetae and his mom ALONG with the divorce papers. Thatd be well deserved) what i Hated was how it felt like author didnt develop spouse’s character at all?? Like WHY did it end that way. My wishful thinking is hoping tht theyre just on amicable terms for the child and are DIVORCED!!! They have to be bc author just created a fucking masterpiece of a character social study and world building with the mc perceiving how awful they both were only for the ending to be?? Happy?? For those two??? CMON MAN????? it makes the journey we went through with mc (of boundaries and self discovery and understanding and moving on!!!!) feel like nothing!!!!!!!!!! We wasted 4 chapters LMAO But yknow what its still a good fucking read. Those extras wont ruin the experience and feelings i have for this story. Author really left no stone of mc’s feelings untouched we really went in so deep with mc’s character development AH its just so so fucking good. And another thing that made this so fun to read as well is how oblivious mc is with his attractiveness. The absolute RIZZ master without knowing. The little love triangle mc had with sihyeon and weonyi was so fucking funny LMAO the misunderstandings was just so fun!!!! And mc is just such a likable guy!!! Charisma and professionalism off the roofs!! No wonder he had 3 ppl falling for him lmao (at one point i was completely down for this to turn poly sihyeonxmcxweonyi LMAO but alas) its just so damn good man. It raised the bar for bl mcs so high. Sometimes!!! Bl mcs dont need to be a pushover to keep the romance moving!!! Expand the world and character relationships!!! Please!!!! I’d do anything to have another bl with a mc like juhyeok…. Truly Deserves an anime adaptation. Easily the magnum opus of bls. Author is absolutely GOATED.

INSANE PAGE TURNER I can see how its not for everyone but i absolutely loved it. I couldnt put my phone down and just finished it in one go. Its such a frustrating and toxic story, but underneath all that its undeniable how well written this story is. Author gave all the main and side charas such amazing depth they all felt Real and grounded. Its a VERY unconventional love story, its toxic and infuriating and frustrating but the resolution the author did was honestly not bad. Author builded up jiwoo’s toxicity for so many chapters and to finally see eunsung break up with him was SO satisfying. Even the petty/fucked up way he treated jiwoo was satisfying to read!! And i couldnt blame him bc jiwoo was such a textbook emotional manipulator/abuser. The author rlly took a leap in how they wrote jiwoo bc its so real, and seeing jiwoo and eunsung really, REALLY fight was so intense and stressful. And even with all of that, i adore how the author doesnt write this half assedly. Each dialogue and action and pacing was done so so well. Even the conclusion of the story was written maturely. No one was right or wrong, it all boils down to such a gray morality standpoint that it was useless to point fingers at the end. Eunsung couldve made a clean break up but no he always taunted his exes and jiwoo took everything for granted until eunsung could not take it anymore. It was just pure toxicity waiting to explode and it did!! Author wrote eunsung’s monologue so well too. One thing i absolutely love is eunsung falling out of love with jiwoo and how resolute he is in this. No wishy washy writing, he did not love jiwoo anymore and jiwoo rlly had to win him back. Its so rare to see in romance stories where the mc blatanly says to the audience their lack of feelings for the ml and its honestly refreshing. and also sad but also understandable lmao The story gives u so much contradictory feelings, u just feel conflicted throughout the story and if that was the author’s intention then they did that insanely well LMAO ALSO really love the ending. Was kind of rooting for eunsung and jiwoo to separate properly but this kind of ending, with all the pacing and progression/development the author did, it felt okay. They wanted to try again, with more established boundaries and communication and thats good. Bc rlly, the whole theme of the story is about the importance of boundaries and compromise in a relationship. Hopefully if they ever want to end things, it will be on a more mature and positive note (but very unlikely to happen bc jiwoo is insanely emotionally dependent on eunsung lmao) Overall its a very addicting read. I couldnt stop from binging it all!!!! Love the writing, the pacing, the development of all characters. Its such a realistic take on relationships, its a simple 10/10 for me lmao. Just a story of very flawed characters trying to make a flawed relationship work. Its pitiful to see but it happens irl so it left me with a peculiar, mature, bittersweet aftertaste. Full 10/10 purely bc of the author’s way of depicting their relationship and development and how no one is right (except for minji and dongwoon tho ily) and that in itself is left a memorable impression on me. Gonna remember this story for a long time lol its going to go in my list of bl magnum opuses just for how well the author navigated the story of two flawed individuals and the impression it left on me. 10/10 kudos to author!!!!

Oh this is SO good!! This one is for the queers!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! FOR ME!!!!!!! Love how the characters are written here, theres these subtle panels of sono Clearly being attracted to yano but hes denying it due to his concern for his mom, poor bub,,,, this is not a bad cliche at all, the author wrote the characters and their reasoning quite well, like they actually have depth and its grounded and solid!!! Seeing sono deny/repress his sexuality and reassuring his mom “im not like him(dad)” is heart breaking bc it hits too close to home sigh TT author writes nuance by portraying the characters’ actions vs thoughts/dialogue SO so well, the pacing was great, the panels were added meticulously and the story telling was wonderful especially with how the author handled sono’s conversation with his mom. The resolution between those two was touching and a situation i could only yearn and dream of, im so happy for sono TTT There were a good handful of scenes that left an impression on me, yano reaching out to sono after the fight, yano’s stair confession and sono’s backhug confession, sono’s tearjerking call with his mom,, It made me BAWL yall like tears were falling from my eyes non stop it was so so good TTT Author fucking DELIVERED these scenes, especially sono’s well written conflict/topic. It wasnt wishy washy or insensitive, it was handled with so much care, u can feel author’s sincerity and understanding regarding it and i just appreciate it so much? Especially with how yano’s written. Yano is so so good to sono and he took the situation in as best as he could. From her enthusiastic character in the beginning when she met vince to realising that shes all alone in this journey and timeline, its so so well written. I feel tired FOR HER. The panels of her from vince’s perspective adds so much depth too, how oriana is there but u can See how emotionally distant she is at times and its all bc of the weight of his death that shes carrying by herself thats wearing her down… oh oriana TTT Ch6 where oriana convinced vince about her reality, its so fucking heart breaking oh my god and vince’s (misunderstood) realization that oh who oriana loves isnt Him but another version of Him,, the panels showing another vince beside oriana,, that shit went HARD as hell oh i love the way vince’s conflict was portrayed!! NOW THATS CINEMA RAHHHHHHHHH This story unfolded like a damn movie its so fluid and it rlly keeps you by the edge of your seat until the end, such an addicting page turner. 10/10, straight into the magnum opus of bls. I LOVE the plot, the world building, the characters, the relationships and the ending TTTT THE ENDINGGGG everything is so bittersweet and poignant, god i love it, the epilogue rlly gave us such a nice closure to it all. God i LOVE sak’s character. The way the author presented his character at first rlly fooled the readers into thinking he was this poor selfless and harmless mc HSJSN THEN SIKE the plot twist and his lack of empathy to everything except for lima happened and its SAUR fuckin good. THE BORDERLINE YAN BEHAVIOUR RAHHHHH love how instead of the ml being batshit insane, its the mc instead wooo!!!! Lima’s chara is also lowkey insane too bc he is so in love for sak even after everything hes seen from him lmao a total ride of die for eachother especially with the “i was made for you” “my life is yours” AHHH the joongdokfication of it all ITS SOOOOOOO DELICIOUS i love this dynamic so much,,,, yan mc and the string thats keeping mc grounded,,, author COOKED!!!!!!!!!!!!!! love the angst too, its so well written, especially with how cornered u really feel with lima and sak’s situation. Im so happy the author made them run away (elope) together,,, with the way the world was built, it only makes sense for them to run away, especially with the way lima’s resolution being “running away, then finding a place i can die on my own terms” LIKE HELL YEAH!!!! LOOK AT THEM!!! they dont need an amplifier to be on the same wavelength with each other,,, Its like those soulmate/fated stories of “had it not been fate, would u still choose me” and here even though they never verbally expressed their affection (i mean, makes sense with how they grew up), its SO clear how much they still love each other even after everything, its clear with how devoted lima is with sak and how sak is slowly adapting to not relying on the amplifier to communicate with lima. Sak might have been attracted to lima at first due to him being a caller but once everything was null, u can see his fondness growing and even if its not and saks feeling is still ambiguous, its still such a satisfying and nice way to express their relationship. With the world being as dark and grim as it is, the attraction they have and their desperation and devotion to their companionship (ay joongdok) is SO fucking romantic and feels so much more charged than a regular “yeah we like each other we are officially dating!” Kind of a way… its so good…hes a lil slow but Like sak’s getting there!! lima’s there to keep him in check of his yan tendencies lmao They have forever with each other!!! Let them wander together forever…,,, still love the beginning and ending monologue cant stop thinking about it MHM chefs kiss what a nice finishing touch author TTTT god after some of the stories ive read, this was almost like cinematic masterpiece lmao i was engaged as hell. For a good 80 chapters, author cooked and delivered above and beyond lmao. Especially for this supernatural/apocalypse genre!!!!! Love the open ending for sak and lima. Such a perfect ending. Wrote so much rambling abt this but then shit happened and its gone so im gonna try to write it again with hopes i capture the gist of how i felt when i read this I cant believe that i put off from reading this for so long oh my god. All because i thought it was gonna be a silly little pwp trope bc cmon cum with pearls? But NAUR author set up the most heinous and exploitative situation jooha could be in and its heart breaking to read him go thru it all TTTT dooshik’s background and character was interesting too bc this guy has his flaws LMAO flirtatious, vulgar and arrogant as hell at times but GOD is he so lovable. Both jooha and dooshik are one of the most lovable characters ive ever read so far, aside from shin and wolfgang from kings maker. The depth these characters have is fucking stunning, dooshik’s dedication and stubbornness in making things Work for him and jooha is so so sweet and endearing bc this mf became a gangster for him. PLEASE its so TTTTTTTT usually in bl, one will be the love interest and the mc and the love interest would just get the childhood backstory and thats it but this??? BRO jooha and dooshik carried the shit out of this story, theyre both such good mcs in carrying the plot its SO SO SO GOOD. Author developed their characters and relationships perfectly. Their intimacy and banter and sex was such a joy to read, it felt authentic almost? Especially the casual way in how they disagree in things and the way they address each other in mundane convo. Its so fucking good yall lmao, writing such seamless dialogue like that is a feat in itself and the author ate it UPPP and usually i’d be happy enough with the great dialogue but NO the author mfkin COOKED SOME MOREEEE. Art is fucking GORGEOUS. I couldnt stop staring at how beautiful dooshik is drawn. THATS MY HIMBO BABY GIRL. He is SO FUCKING COOL, especially in later seasons where he became a gangster hes fucking ruthless its sos sexy??? RAHHHHHHH felt like reading a shounen manhwa in some scenes, he was that badass lmao. and hes the perfect lover for someone like jooha THEYRE JUST SO PERFECT FOR EACHOTHER all the fluffy scenes of them enjoying life is so so cute TT the singing in the car scene was especially dear to me its just so cute. Dooshik is such a big lover boy and the fact that he can finally be as doting as he wants with jooha is so so cute TTT NOW THE DAMN ANTAGONISTS. Oh author cooked in this one too lmao its been a good while since an antagonist pissed me off this badly LMAO pilwon deserves the shit daekwang and daehui went thru like the fact that he died off screen felt foul. Thats the only thing i have a problem with this story LMAO i want this mf to rot in jail yo. The amount of times i yelled at the screen for dooshik to record his convo with pilwon is shjdjdjdj LIKE SET HIM BACK UP??? i need to isekai in this story just so that jooha and dooshik can be happy and in love in peace TT sure the twins got shit handed back to them and it feels great but i’d rather author scrap it to include pilwon’s demise instead ykwim? And speaking of this, one thing im rlly happy that the author did was minimizing backstory of certain characters? Like pilwon in jooha’s life and eunwoo in dooshik’s life. Both experiences were just shitty and instead of prolonging it to some 3 chapter backstory author made it short and sweet and enough for the reader to gauge the entire situation in our head. Author is VERY good at giving bits of info instead of holding our hand thru it. I LOVE that approach lmao. Sometimes, shitty ppl dont need some in depth chara backstory, theyre just shitty people full stop. NOW THE STARS OF THIS STORY. Seunghyun and jaepil deserves so much more merch of their own LIKE GET DAEKWANG AND DAEHUI OUTTA THERE, SEUNGHYUN AND JAEPIL STOLE THE SHOW FOR ME I LOVE THEM SO MUCH????? They had so much potential to be a side couple especially with how much seunghyun is obviously pining for jaepil ITS CRAZYDBDNND we rlly couldve had some old man yaoi action….. give them a spinoff author.., please………. THEYRE TEW GOOD????? love how they were written so much in the conflict, it rly felt like a solid power struggle with pilwon for gangnam, shit was STRESSFUL. And with what jooha has gone thru, it rlly gives the readers this sinking feeling bc theres stakes and consequences to this. I love it when authors do that especially with a genre like this. This amps up even more with jooha struggling with his ptsd. I LOVE the scene where jooha went to get treated for it and is TRYING so hard to move on from it. It adds so much more depth and authenticity in joohas character, i love it so much TTT Now . The ending. Its so bittersweet like tears were definitely shedjdjjd. It feels like a small mercy and act of kindness from the universe to have jooha forget the most traumatic moments of his life. Hes finally able to relive back his youth in a more safe and loving environment with dooshik. And dooshik being hellbent in making jooha happy and rewriting all of his initial memories with pilwon. That shit fucking hurt bc good for jooha but GOD i want to give a hug to dooshik TTTT hes the one bearing the trauma for the both of them and with his character, as much as he misses the og jooha, he’d rather see this jooha who laughs more freely and happily with no worries. Hes okay with it and you KNOW he wont say a peep about their past to maintain the happiness jooha is having TTT its so heartbreakingly bittersweet..,,, especially knowing dooshiks character development,, (a bingqiu/yuan au of this would be so sickening mhm) AND AND the plunge into the ice cold water at the end where jooha finally remembers again his og memories is so . I WANNA CRY. “Its good to see you again” ITS KKEUT. SCENE!!!!! Its ambiguous but such a happy and bittersweet ambiguous ending in a way, bc jooha remembers again and theyre together and happy and moving on and thats all that matters rlly….. good for them TTT after all they went thru, a win is a win and i’ll take it LMAO it feels good too to end it that way bc jooha and dooshik deserve to have this moment of respite with eachother away from privy eyes (readers) and this subtle, open ending is perfect for them TTTT im really satisified with the ending and even extras,,, uwa TTT it was brief but im glad jooha experienced a new set of fond memories of his youth with dooshik in it. GOOD FOR THEM!!!!!! Rlly cant judge a story by its description and people commenting bc it all comes down to your own reading comprehension of it and to see people lack it and be loud abt it rlly ruins a story so im glad i went in this blind!!!! Author aced everything imo, from the plot, the characters and their dynamics, their developments, their conflict, the dialogues, the art AND panels,, all of it is fucking gorgeous. The conflict is stellar bc each of the characters motifs felt charged and had weight in it. Its SOLID and i fucking love it LMAO. jooha’s grit and dooshik’s determination to survive thru it all so that they can be free and happy is done so tastefully. The dark shit was great i love Everything abt it!!! Author went ham with it bro. With how everything unfolded like a movie, it makes sense that the author spent majority of the week planning the story board bc BRO, the foreshadowing and panelling is to DIE for. Its a cinematic masterpiece its fucking good??? Angles are dynamic and fun with equally engaging dialogue and monologues. Im singing praises bc author did their damn fucking thing???? Its amazing???? To see this level of detail in its art, plot and characters in just 90 chapters. no dilly dallying, none of that. Straightforward but not the point of spoon feeding your audience. Author is insane LMAO im definitely looking forward to more of their works, bc this being their first long series is just crazy. 10/10, straight into bl’s magnum opuses. Its fucking good LMAO.
