reading other revenge/villainess stories made me realize that i took this story for granted. Aria you will forever be famous!!!! No one can ever be like you MY GOD the amount of stories i have read where the mc supposedly goes through a “revenge” only to stop halfway bc ‘oh no the people who betrayed me had their reasons! Misunderstanding!! No more revenge now..’ good lord it pisses me off its so half assed and the most laziest attempt at salvaging the plot i fucking hate it lmao and the way the supposed villainess/avenger mc suddenly turns into some fucking mary sue character??? Piss off oh my god how can you forgive that quickly its just so badly written BUT THIS miss aria my girl stayed CONSISTENT with her revenge. i LOVE her!! NOONE DOES IT LIKE HER!!! woke up from a time reverse situation and got to work IMMEDIATELY. Fucking love how her character grew from a naive girl to a vengeful, cunning villainess. LIKE YES girl youre a villain we all knew that and we are HERE for that. Im not here for the mc to go through a self awakening journey that revenge isnt it BITCH NO im here for the mc to drop the goddamn axe on the people who wronged her. Enough of that saintess kind hearted bullshit. Scheme their death in the most painful way. Be CONSISTENT about it. BE SMART. And aria delivered exactly that. The love plot is like a background in this and i love it so much. Aria’s sole motivation through out the series was to crush the count’s family and that she did! Her second character arc comes after that which is finding peace in herself for doing what she did. I love that even aria herself acknowledged that shes a cruel villainess. LIKE YEAH MAN WE LOVE A SELF AWARE MC she knows what she is and what she did! And what makes it even better is that the ml is 100% on with her scheming like??? EVEN COVERS FOR HER!!! Now thats true love. Asher deserves full marks as the ml bc not only is he head over heels head empty no thoughts only aria, but hes also smart as hell in knowing what aria wants. And does he stop her? NAUR! They plan shit together! Now thats a romance that has me kicking my feet giggling. Truly the best villainess mc. Shes a self aware, cunning and cruel with an equally cunning and cruel ml. absolute perfection. The very essence of a great fucking villainess. The fact that my girl never once let go of her hatred for mielle? Immaculate 10/10 without a doubt just pure perfection idc idc thats a vengeful, merciless bitch and i love her for that. It deserves a reread just for that itself!
