From vol1 to vol6 it was a banger after banger. The perfect comfy story to cuddle up and read after a long say bc of how wholesome and sweet it is. Had me tearing up in certain scenes bc of how sweet they were TT im so invested in all these characters, i rlly hope its jsut a continous slice of life series that doesnt end,,, i love it so much…. All the conflict and miscommunication is handled so well and its visible in how naoto and hazuki’s relationship develops in each volume… i rlly hope it never ends TTTT

very fuwa fuwa love how the conflict in this was portrayed and resolved. Ml is definitely right; u dont have to resolve shit if the process of it burdens u alone, the desire to resolve should come from both parties!!!! Fuck yeah!!!!! Love that!!! Author’s way of resolving conflict has always felt really fresh and mature, i rlly enjoy it!! This was a great spinoff!

A very pleasant lighthearted read!! Yokai x human stories always gets my heart aching with the eventual parting the couple will go through bc of their different lifespans and this is exactly what happened i love how sweet and simple it is, two lonely individuals finding comfort with one another and building a life from the love they cultivated for one another and giving it a whole new meaning; my favourite love story theme forever!!!!! The art style is gorgeous, author’s work is stunning and the characters are sweet and lovable. I adore haku, i ache at his abandonment anxiety, hes jsut so cute and wonderful TTT i would have enjoyed chapters and chapters of their slice of life in the country side and the ending was wonderful too, im so happy haku finally got to disappear and join izuki, what a good boy to have waited to patiently and earnestly through all the years, kept the house as best as he could even with all the vines growing TTTT “the pain he gave me is kind and sweet.” The way i teared up… oh the inevitable pain of being loved…. What a satisfying read, obsessed with the final panel, so simple so peaceful and so quiet. They deserve this sweetness, 10/10!!!!

Cute cute cute campus couple story witht a tinge of animal characteristics thrown in the mix!!! Love the “i like ur friend but i accidentally confessed to u” trope LMAO its always funny and the yearning from the ml is a cherry on top. Ml is so sweet and mc is just so lovable and cute!! Miscommunication in the confession was handled swiftly and the marriage meeting dinner/lunch stunt the ml did was addressed rlly properly by the mc and how uncomfortable and betrayed she felt over it. Ml also showed regret about it???? Its just really refreshing!!! Seeing how clueless they are in their relationship is so cute especially with how they try to navigate around it, things are moving rlly fast and i worry about the outcome thats gonna happen from mc holding in that big secret from ml. Knowing ml he’ll probably be angry at his mom for putting such a deal to mc. Maybe even guilt for not being able to help mc. Tons of drama will unfold but so far their progression as a couple has just been so cute and fluffy TTTTT simple uni romances like these are everything to me

Okay plot wise its fun, i love horror bl!! And it gave me solid heebie jeebies in the beginning. The characters are good excpet The only gripe i have is the very quick and shallow romance? I love the ml but it rlly does feel like hes only there to move the plot and mc’s character development. He fell for the mc too quickly and the reasoning to help mc was quite? Idk bland? If the romance’s pacing was solid, this would have been an easy 9/10!!!! The horror is getting a bit tired and dragged out im ngl, BUT the mc’s character and back story makes sense for it. Author portrayed mc’s ex thru the eyes of an abused manipulated victim very well. Mc could not bring himself to think of his ex in a negative light after all those years of his ex abusing and isolating him and thats heart breaking. His self esteem is in the gutter and his parents are total shit. Im really glad even though personality wise the ml is bland, he is rlly proactive and efficient in recognizing discrepancies in the mc’s story and is quick to solve things. AND he looks like jungkook from bts girl who am i to complain?????? ALSO Extremely sweet and considerate too!! Thats why his personality lays a jarring light on mc’s ex when he questions it. Its done really well. Mc’s insistence in the ex being a “good” guy despite seeing the ex physically abusing him (until the chair broke!!!) was really telling too. It even made me second guess sometimes too only to remember wait that mf threw a chair at u babes YOU ARE A VICTIM!!! Its so sad to think about thru out those 20 years with his ex he hasnt got to create any sort of connection or friends out of his ex’s circle to the point where he relies on chat sites instead :( poor bub… All in all its an okay story. Psychological aspect of it is good and the horror is not Too scary but enough to feel disturbed. Romance is really cliche at times and bland however. I really hope the resolution to this story is mc getting therapy, realizing how much of a red flag his ex was and living his own life free to do whatever!!!!!!! Hope it doesnt drag too much and ends it swiftly now that we know the solution to the hauntings
