I see the vision the author wants to make but the execution in character and world building is just not it lol characters like jia piss me off bc these monsters literally killed thousands of people with no remorse and u wanna talk about them having “stories”? Are you stupid? That reasoning is bonkers especially given the world theyre in. those people arent put into the death penalty bc of petty crime and even mc said there hasnt been a wrongful conviction since ppl with her abilities arrived. And to have the audacity to go “your brother would be very sad” mf if only u knew your husband died bc of these people lol do those who died not deserve justice? Characters like these make the atmosphere of the story so damn jarring bc are we seeing the same bloodshed rn or no? And the twins saying they didnt kill anyone before the cute harajuku-core hero arrived, thats a damn lie didnt they just stabbed a woman for being “good” to send her to heaven lol ?
Author put us right into a story where it felt like its already reaching a climax all from ch1 until now and had no room to give us a sense of attachment to these characters so i kind of dont really care what happens to the characters including the mc. Bc of that it feels extremely dragged out. The villains are annoying and their reasonings are incredibly edgy and cliche, the government and the whole equality group ideal is incredibly stupid for putting all those villains in one big confinement cell instead of putting them down immediately. Sure raosa(?) has a point lets not include civilians into the mix when heroes kill the monsters but . Surely you could have thought of a better idea than putting these powerful monsters in . Jail? the mc’s anger and emotional burn out is justified bc things are just not adding up LMAO im getting pissed in his behalf just thinking about it. And when he kills all the monsters then what? Is he gonna be put on death row next? Everything is so inconsistent and naive, i wonder if thats the author’s intention lol if so then thats great
And author not establishing any sort of rule and limit for mc’s powers is also a peculiar move bc by not explaining it, you inherently put the readers into this sense of belief where mc is unstoppable and has no reason to lose At All. Unlike other mcs like sjw and kdj where they have limits and level ups to showcase their power sets and abilities, this mc’s powers feels very… open and vague to the interpretation lol.
Kudos to the artist for the character design though bc its very stunning! Gorgeous art style and colours! I hope mc kills everyone. Be the villain even! Go big! Go apeshit! Boom boom pow pow!! Who cares about the plot at this point lol
