Another soothing balm to the soul kind of read…. I adore the setting and season it took place, it’d really be the perfect summer anime love story.. i hope they get an anime adaptation next :’) Art is amazing, the fact that the author took their time to draw the background is so crazy, love how fluid the line movement is for the figures. And the couple dynamic is just so so sweet and adorably naive. Ryuuji being amane’s first boyfriend and relationship is so perfect, im so happy for him and ryuuji being so considerate and kind towards amane is so sweet too AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH I love their dynamic so much man, the lil jealousy chapter ryuuji had rlly takes the cake for me bc i can see how their dynamic will easily go to “A falls first but B falls harder” territory AHHH cant even fault ryuuji for it, amane is just the sun personified TT the friendly social butterfly TTT and amane carrying that trauma of constantly lying to protect himself :’(( sunshine character whos holding some sort of trauma i lov u so much…. Ryuuji’s constant reassurance and need to communicate with amane is great too AHH its just such a chill and sweet and no stress bl??? I rlly hope they get their flowers and have an anime adaptation soon :’) 10/10 easily. Wishful thinking but i do hope their slice of life continues until they go to uni, would love to see how their dynamic grows in uni/tokyo hehe slice of life bl my bread and butter…….

HIKARIN THE APPLE OF MY FAWKIN EYE!!!!!! Thats my son omg the hikari’s anime va made me ill with baby fever it was so fucking adorable!!!!!! Love the mundanity of their everyday life its so sweet Also one of those rare occasions where i was REALLY invested with the second couple. Yuuki and matsu’s confession was so aro adjacent it was so insanely sweet. Sometimes confessions dont have to be the traditional “i love you” or “lets get married”… “i want to be family with you” “i want to spend forever with you” hits the mark just as good and seeing yuuki’s reaction to it kind of lit a bulb inside my head bc huh… maybe thats what i wanted as well.. not a traditional confession perse but just the promise of forever with someone… i love yuuki and matsu’s dynamic so so much. One bc of yuuki’s casual bluntness with matsu and the bickering and the other is how sleazy matsu is LMAO old man u are really wrapped around yuuki’s finger and its adorable. Definitely want more of them in the future TTTT Oto’s dynamic with the twins is so interesting too IM BEGGING he gets together with both of them. Please. Please. Get tag teamed by the both of them I BEG U AUTHOR………,.. he deserves two alpha husbands doting on him … also surprisingly enough the manga makes him look way more milfier than the anime i was shocked LMAO i completely understand the twin’s attraction… they just like me…………….. Hope we get a second season of the anime and it focuses more on matsu and yuuki hehe thatd be fun The omegaverse world building does have me scratching my head sometimes, i guess hiro not spending the heat with masaki in the first few chapters was just bc masaki didnt want to maybe? Or bc there was no one available to take care of the kids ? Idk ???? Oh well eitherway its fine, doesnt ruin the story that much :3c though i’d really love to see a chapter of them just going at it LMAO matsu and yuuki especially !!!!!!!!

My goat forever!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Will never forget the first time i read this in my room hunched over my table at 3am just straight up binging up until the jeju arc in 2020, that memory is so vivid and left such an impression on me it was so good… def one of the reasons that made me love and venture more on reading more korean shounen(?) works :’) also made me believe that wow always read the webnovels first bc it will always be the best version of the story lol the Og even It isnt the most perfect manhwa; character wise (thought the novel fleshed it out much more better) but it does its job damn well for the overpowered mc trope. One of the best definitely! Love jinwoo’s relationship with his shadow soldiers and the shadow soldier’s lil antics is jsut adorable. Truly the highlight of the story. My only gripe is the romance and how poorly written the women are in the story lmao. Jinwoo’s chemistry with hae in was close to none. Itd have been better if he ended up with johee bc at least the history together is there. It’d make the romance flow more seamlessly too. Hae in’s character and attraction doesnt go and develop far other than bc jinwoo doesnt stink and its comical at how bad it wasdbbfb the date omake was so OOC from jinwoo i had to skip it bc it was clear the author was like Oh yeah i gotta convince yall that this is the female lead btw. Which was horribly donehdjd and hae in’s character was so poorly developed too she wasnt even in the story most of the time lmao. The artist’s rendition in drawing women pisses me off too in the epilogue like damn can yall draw women standing normally for once insanity… I had to really make up my own delusion fix it in my head on how the romance happened bc whew i would have lost my mind if i didnt lol like cmon yall why do shounen authors are so allergic to writing romance if u cant write it then dont???? And even if u do write it please have a shoujo author read it bc cmon now i swear it isnt as hard as it seems read kaiju no.8 and it baffled me how seamless the chemistry is for the main leads, hell even i was rooting for them!!!! It would have been so damn good if hae in was an important character that knows jinwoo’s conflicts and struggles intimately and vice versa. They could even have had an inside joke like how hae in always did the first move in the first timeline and when they parted during the final battle, hae in knows about jinwoo’s plan in resetting everything and despite struggling to let jinwoo go and handle it alone, she made a joke and tell jinwoo that Hey, i’ll wait for you and you better do the first move this time. Jinwoo could laugh kiss her and say definitely??? GIRL GET ME IN THE BETA PROOFREAD ROOM WHY DID I THINK OF A BETTER WAY FOR THEIR ROMANTIC CHEMISTRY TO FLOURISH THAN THE AUTHOR!!!!!!!!! RAHHH Welp its understandable i guess bc sometimes u can kinda tell the author has never felt a semblance of romance irl lol and clearly the story jsut intends on focusing more on jinwoo (side character relationships feel more like an after thought except for jinho lol) bc again aha solo leveling amirite. Then again, the novel kind of depicts his relationship with the other characters much better than the manhwa. His relationship with jinho was so sweet and intimate even LMAO might as well make jinho the endgame male lead for jinwoo lololol matter of fact jinwoos chemistry with the other male characters was so much more solid. HELL even that bit with thomas calling jinwoos strength beautiful is insane as well. Gonna have a great time in ao3 later LOL The ending gave me mixed feelings as well. I feel like it would have been such an interesting theme to explore to have jinwoo accept the hunter world as it is. Consequences happen and you have to live with it. And the main character list was still alive too except for gunhee. The ending really was so lonely and pitiful for jinwoo i remember feeling so incredibly sad for him lmao. I would love to read a fix it fic where jinwoo doesnt use the cup of reincarnation, it wouldve been so interesting to see how the world coped after it all and can be a theme on how humans despite everythjng are resilient beings who will do anything to protect what they love. Thats what makes the rulers fond of them too to protect them. I would have completely understood if jinwoo chose to rewind time IF his mom or sister (or hae in even) died during the attack and despite winning, He didnt feel like he won bc someone so important and pivotal to him died anyway. The mental breakdown leading up to it would have made the reasoning solid i think. Oh well! And i know his dad did die but his presence in the story was so … absent and didnt impact the plot that much it didnt feel like a big deal lmao hell, gunwoo’s death hit so much more harder. Even in the extras.. dang Anyway despite all of that its still a favourite of mine to reread. Though i’ll always get in a rant everytime i get closer to the romance or ending lol.. but then the sides would happen and i would be sated bc of how cute the shadow soldiers are LMAO beru tusk igris and bellion my babies i hope with the anime happening we’ll get plushies of them soon… Also side note jinwoo being a cop at the end is such a peculiar choice (but understandable i guess lol) all in all im happy it finally got an anime adaption. Gorgeous animation gorgeous VAs. 2020 me would have been ecstatic to know about the anime like wow i was DESPERATE for it to get an anime adaptation and IT REALLY DID…… love that for me im so happy.. solid 10/10, hype storyline with a very cool mc. ALRIGHTTTTTTT was so worried it’d go down the boruto route and have the mc and plot completely tarnished for the sake of a quick buck but omg so far its really good?? The plot is cooking really well and im intrigued. Im happy theyre expanding more on the outer gods plot. Surprisingly the manhwa is doing the story more justice from what ive seen. ppl are surprised at the changes from the novel and how the manhwa is doing it better and im all for it!!!! Especially for the scene where suho awakened the colleague skill with gray like hell yeah !! (Plus i love how refreshingly new suho’s approach and usage of the shadow skill; using the shadow as his gauntlets thats so fucking cool) Also Im so down for the plot to be suho and the other descendants of the monarchs work together to protect earth THATD BE SO GOOD and an interesting deviation from how jinwoo originally did things (completely solo) this time suho’s gonna be a mc who fights WITH others and i think thatd be so fun to see!!! And suho is so silly hes adorable a very lovable mc and his personality is so bright-earnest-shounen mc adjacent (especially his banters with beru aw) different than jinwoo’s lone wolf archetype and that makes the “combining monarch forces” plot so appealing!!!!! Cant wait to see suho’s reaction at jinwoo’s power at full blast lol like boy your dad’s powers are fucking OP lmao rlly wanna see if suho will ever know that his dad has technically went thru two lifetimes….. damn i rlly wonder how all of this will boil down to. I have high hopes for this, im really excited!! Def gotta let this marinate for a few years lol

Peak coming of age shoujo story. Insanely sweet and adorable, light hearted and stress free! Love the constant reassurance and communication the couple has, author also doesnt blow certain plot points out of proportion for a cheap dramatic twist. The tone of the story felt really mature despite the cliche plot. Very refreshing!!! Cant forget how mindful aoi was with koto’s pronouns, itsuki’s casual open affection towards sena and even entertaining the idea of top bottom dynamics LMAO (itsuki is so bi coded) and aoi’s mom’s approach and view in marriage having different forms. Its all just tastefully done? And koto just SCREAMS aro so much, i love how androgynous she looks lmao her dynamic with itsuki is so fucking cute, so straight yaoi of them!!!!! Oh and the way the characters approach sex is so nice too! Sena a champ for holding it thru that long lmao cant even blame him if he lasts 5 secs tops LOL my boy was horny gripping for 10 chapters straight Its a very nice read, i flew past the chapters so fucking fast lmao truly a stress free read with lovable characters! Author did their thing here! Koto being the balance and sound of reason in the story is great too, love how stead fast she is. I was rlly rooting for it to be gl and bl bc itd be such a fun spin to see a shoujo story where the mc really explores ALL options with all genders with no harsh feelings lol .. one day!!!!! Suprisingly well paced for a short story. Sure the conflict mc had was resolved pretty quickly but the couple progression felt just right! Theyre so so sweet with each other. I LOVE the lil misunderstanding they had with the ml thinking mc liked someone else, only to realise it was him he liked instead, it made the lil journal entries mc did soooooo adorable and sweet. AHHHH. Mc went through so much and i love how ml is so considerate through everything, mc is rlly such a dear, their sex scene was drawn so beautifully TTT felt awe struck seeing mc’s face during the scene, hes so fucking cute. AHH!!!!!!!!! It ended nicely for 4 chapters which is amazing. They def deserve two volumes at least bc i would loveee to see their characters and relationship develop more as time went by
