Suddenly Became a Princess One Day

Complete | Plutus,Spoon , 스푼 | 2018 released

the overall art is amazing, mesmerising even. The beginning of the story hooks the reader really easily, it has a very adorable start but with a darker truth behind it. It still follows the same isekai route, though the rarer thing about the story is that the MC have been reincarnated very often. Although this is a very interesting detail, it also kind of ruins the story, since it doesn't show the more modern side of the character even after they've returned back to their; despite having spent a significant time in the modern world. this part of the story feels like it was just thrown there so that the MC can fix all her mistake from the beginning in order to survive. The plot i wouldn't say is the best and causes u want to stop reading it, but wat makes u actually want to stay is the art. the ending also feels quite unfinished and a lot o parts kinda is completed without further explanation. such as the love interest in the stories who are just there to help the MC when she is in desperate need or how her cousin didn't contribute much in the story and was just there to uplift the MC making her give off a "personalityless" vibe. i feel like the story wasn't there to tell the plot and development, but more of a story just for the author have her art shine and a starter project for fun. Towards the end it also feels kind of rushed and we can also clearly see how the author ran out of idea towards the end. many things weren't done to the T, such as the relationship afterwards between the maid and the knight, the relationships between the cousin and the MC and the love interest. also it felt like the MC became closer with her cousin, so that she won't make an enemy out of her, their relationship felt forced and not with much sincerity considering how they were both anxious with eachother's intentions.

love the story and the artstyle. we can tell it was put with a lot of care and furnishing, though the plot started going back and forth and drama keeps getting added in. first read, hooks reader with it's art and interesting starter plot. the story also shows a lot of the MC's relationship and connections with the people around her. compared to a lot of reincarnation plots it doesn't overally focus on it and rather makes the present of the story and the past 2 seperate stories. we are also able to figure how the past serves as just a memory and doesn't affect the MC that much. Though as the plot progresses the author keeps adding layer to it, losing its unique taste; mostly on the part where the son reunites with the mom felt kinda unnecessary and served not much of a help in the plot and was just there so he could betray his masters. though because of the amount of layers in the story it was able to give more chps, it also caused the story to lose it's good taste and just became a whole supernatural kdrama with repeated plot.

Death Is The Only Ending For The Villainess

Ongoing | gwon gyeoeul,suol | 2019 released

Although it follows the same plot as many isekai shoujo it has a nice uniqueness and it's the fact that the MC is actually playing the game but this time irl, making it a lot tenser and hooks the readers. the story also gives us an understanding of the actions done by the MC and the way everyone felt guilty for the way they treated the MC is also a nice scene to read (mostly the way her family acts). This story is simple and doesn't keep adding more unnecessary things and gives a clear understanding of the development of the story. furthermore the story gives us a clear goal of the MC and she also has clear intentions such as surviving, although it's a monotonous goal it's a goal that fits well into the story considering how the MC is not only playing the game but also experiencing the whole game first hand. the characters in the stories also has very simple personality similar to an otome game, which served its purpose. although i may give it a 5*, but honestly this plot is slightly overused in shoujo.
