When I was reading some first chapters, I used to think Hate Mate was a story about 2 friends become lovers. Maybe something happens, in the end Subin and Hyunwoo will comeback together. But when Kang Jun appeared more frequently, I like him more than Hyunwoo and hope Subin & hyung will be the end game couple.
And now, after reading 39 chapters, I can say Hate Mate is a story about 2 friends with 2 lifestyles. They had some issues with each other when they were young, but then 2 people got their our roads to move on. It's really close to our real life. I used to think I will married some of my classmates when in school, but now I dont, haha :D
Hyunwoo's a bold guy and the author doesnt talk much about him like we hope with the title of the manhwa. I like the female characters in this manhwa too (Noona and hyung's friend). They all are badass girls :D. This manhwa made me remember back to Let Dai - a great BL manhwa I've read so far.
