In the end, they couldn't do anything for Lewis. To be honest, I didn't think for one second he could be cured... i was just waiting for the imminent end and when it finally came, I couldn't believe it. At least, his final moments were spent with the person who treated him well and loved him dearly, and not with that cheating piece of garbage. And the letter - it made me tear up even more, even though it made me angrier with Adolph. His punishment is cruel, but fair - waiting for someone who would never come back and realizing all he's done wrong but never being able to fix his mistakes.

Based on the book 'No Longer Human' by japanese writer Dazai Osamu. Apparently it's very depressing but a good read, so I'll give it a shot.

this made me so emotional although it's only 3 chapters... i really loved it.
