Red-Haired James
Drew me in for its 'I raised you and now you want to eat my tofu' energy but its so much deeper than that. The early 1900s worldbuilding, the horrifically tragic backstories of our main characters, and the emotional connection you make with each is so resounding. Janet is truly a saint and James is truly all the good in the world. Surprisingly HE (with everyone I needed to be alive I can't believe).
A Painter Behind the Curtain
Brilliant storytelling. Really immersive worldbuilding in the vibes of the early 1900s. I gobbled it all up in one go.
OUROBOROS:ウロボロス
From the cover I thought the MC would be serious and dramatic, but he's such a troll lol.
December
GAH NO EPILOGUE?! i love a one-track-minded seme who exits to pursue his <3 (plus that only nice to my bae dichotomy *chef's kiss*) and a really sweet uke who's been through trauma before but just falling in loveeeee. Though it's quite extreme the portrayal of hierarchy and legal system this story has, like you can just go around beating people to death with no consequences because you're a 'dominant' or 'awakened' alpha that's excessive yo
I Became the Wife of the Monstrous Crown Prince
Love Ancia, love rabbit Blake, love hot emperor dad, love an actual good female side character/sister. Hate the a-hole dad. (Did both mothers die?)
Kill the Lights
I read the original story before, so was pleasantly surprised to see this webtoon adaptation. Still excellent, the characters emotions were conveyed well, though I think because the scenes are limited certain parts were less believeable? If you read the novel I think the plot is laid out more and can be more complex and realistic. Noah's ENORMOUS DONG though, is ummmm crazyyy yo
Cozy Obsession
The way they do things is very strange, but cool concept, and I like how it played out. [SPOILER] with reliving the past life but also Huimin's 'dream life' from his drawings, but Iheon knows everything 0_0 Saving to see the baby hopefully~
