This story was pretty cray, plenty of psychotic a-holery, dramatic detective work, and smut in like every chapter lol. Poor Yuwol never gets to catch a break T^T It was unexpectedly more depressing than I thought heading into this. But I do love the characters.

Ahhhhh the season 1 cliffhanger thoooooo! Submissive semes and power ukes are a combo I'll never get tired of. Love our main CP.

Drew me in for its 'I raised you and now you want to eat my tofu' energy but its so much deeper than that. The early 1900s worldbuilding, the horrifically tragic backstories of our main characters, and the emotional connection you make with each is so resounding. Janet is truly a saint and James is truly all the good in the world. Surprisingly HE (with everyone I needed to be alive I can't believe).

Thought it was just meh starting off with the first couple, but by the end I was so invested in all of their relationships. I love how they were all interconnected through the Leopard host club and how unique the personalities were.
