akane (fl) gets broken up with by this guy who found another girl in this game they were playing together! and she goes to this meetup and meets yamada (ml) who she’d just seen in game! and it goes from there since they’re in the same guild ^_^. a lot of people do find this uncomfortable because of the age gap, but I feel like it’s different. yamada was literally at the end of Highschool, already 18 and living on his own as a pro gamer (so has already had to mature a bunch and learn to take care of himself), and akane is around 20! but there is definitely no power imbalance thing that is usually the case with age gaps, and it feels suuuper comfortable imo. of course this doesn’t always work, but in this case it does for me :) SO. I get the hype ok. I kind of avoid stuff with sm chapters but tell me why I read the whole thing in 24 hours like literally every spare moment I had. LORD OH LORD I LOVE THEM SO MUCH!! they are everything to me especially as someone who plays games I even love the game speak. but that’s just my preference idk even the plot is so entertaining for me!!!!!!!
