Kyoushitsu no Yugami
I don't like this one as much as the sequel. It isn't as careful and psychological. This one is more self-indulgent, I think, and I find it odd that the teacher would be so careless as to risk this sort of thing getting out when he'd carefully groomed the first boy over a period of time. It's an interesting concept, the process of breaking in a plaything, and the prequel was disturbing and sad, but very well done. This was... okay. It had a slight edge to it, but it ultimately felt more like typical yaoi BDSM than Harada's work usually does. Though that thing with the toy and the classroom is definitely screwed up. I've never seen that used in such a dark way.
Shichi Ji Sanjuu Nifun Nanaryoume No Kimi
Wait, so was it a fantasy or not? A little confused, but whatevz. I liked elements of the concept, but it was kind of boring and typical otherwise. The artist could have done so much more with it.
Uchuu no Mozuku
Haha, very bizarre. Harada's stuff tends to be twisted as fuck or very bizarre, sometimes both. When it isn't soul-crushing it's... well... this.
Henai Fumouhen
Haha, aww, Harada's only healthy couple. XD Well, minus that one cute story with the boys who were into each other after high school or whatever. But I knew as soon as I realized who they were that it could only end one way. They're super kinky and adorable.
Amai Hari
2.5 stars based on just the first story, but I'm waiting to see if more comes out. I think I've read this one before. It's familiar, but then, a lot of these stories are similar. I'm not a fan of rape being excused in any way, but it's a pretty common theme. If the author goes on to show that she meant for the first story to be as fucked up as it is and hadn't intended redemption in the seme's explanation, that'd be great. I'm not holding my breath, though.
Aizou (TAMAQUIS Wren)
Not entirely sure what was happening there. I mean, it was messed up and intriguing, though as a one shot, it leaves a lot out. The way it ends, it isn't clear whether or not this was a roleplay between them the entire time or overcompensation on the part of the younger brother.
Ikujinashi No Spectator
That was... a very odd story. Kind of cute, but definitely weird. I liked the second one more because there was no rape in it. I like elements of the first one, but nonconsent isn't erased by future consent, and it bugs me. But whatever, the author clearly has a thing for very odd love triangles. The manga treats some stuff too lightly, but what else is new when it comes to BL? It doesn't surprise me, but I still don't like it. Anyway, it was entertaining, and I did like some of the cute twists on certain tropes. Everyone was an asshole in the first story, so at least they were more likable in the second.
Redemption Camp
Why the fuck did I read this piece of shit? I mean, I hated it before I even started it, and yet I just. couldn't. stop. Dear lord, though, those gravity-defying breasts. Girl, you could have easily knocked all those dudes out with those things.
Yoru To Asa No Uta
While the way the seme treated the uke throughout the story was horrid, at least he didn't rape him, which is like 90% of the manga out there, so I can tolerate their unhealthy relationship a little more. And in the end, it really did seem like they were going to be kind to one another and treat each other well. So I really enjoyed it. Plus, I love Harada, so I'm naturally going to enjoy her work to some degree.
