Kiraide Isasete
I didn't like the pushy part near the end, but otherwise, this was the sweetest seme I've ever seen in an omegaverse where he actually was affected by the pheromones. I love the lengths he went to to avoid hurting the uke. This was a very sweet and sad story. There were some parts that were a bit rushed, but that's typical for manga. I wish we could have more of the two of them together, though. Well, four of them, I guess. Anyway, yay for another story that isn't rape to love! I hate that trope so much, and in omegaverse it's always treated as something excusable because he just couldn't control himself. Gag me.
How to Snag an Alpha
Just the zero chapter right now, so I can't really make a judgment. I hope it updates more soon.
In the Cage
Things resolved a little too easily for my tastes, but at least no one raped him into submission. I feel like this was on several lists or something that made me eager to read it, but I'm not sure now what it was that had me intrigued. It was decent enough, but nothing groundbreaking. At any rate, it was an enjoyable enough read, albeit flawed in its own ways. The art was usually pretty, though there was one shot where the alpha's neck is SO long like he turned into some sort of snake monster, and for the life of me, I do not see how anyone okayed that. It was scary.
Kamiato Kara, Hatsukoi
Hmm. Honestly it isn't nearly as bad as I expected given the description. It's sort of similar to my favorite omegaverse story, regarding fate and past mistakes, etc. though this one doesn't handle it anywhere near as well. Still, I'm used to much worse with this stuff. At least the rape isn't brushed off, or worse, played for laughs.
Tsugai ni Narenai!
Skimmed it mostly, partly because I wanted to see if it would just be endless misunderstandings, which I hate. Seems to be the case, but after they clear things up, I might go back and read it again, knowing how it ends. All he freaking wants in life is to be bound to his best friend, but he thought they never could. Now he has the chance, and he's like, I only wanted it when you were a beta! For some reason. People, drama doesn't have to just come from characters being incredibly inconsistent and evasive!
Love Through Deception -An Omega Subdued by an Alpha-
I actually liked the dark, sad nature of the story, but the ending was so abrupt. This guy's heart is broken, and all we get is "damn it." The end. Anyway, I wish it had been longer. Weird way to end it after all that. Otherwise the rating would have been hire, but this is like a blue balling situation. You give us all this delicious drama and emotion, then you just leave us hanging.
Sutenaide My Hero
WOW I hated this manga. I thought it would be interesting, but it was just creepy smut and rape. I couldn't enjoy any of the drama or love revelations, because it was all so forced and weird. Also, I feel like there was something going on with the omega that was never addressed. Like, is this guy a serial killer? It's not just me, right? He forced this to happen and was manipulating everything from the start. That sort of twist would actually be pretty great if it had been executed properly and not treated like it's funny that it happened. Great art, which is mostly the only reason I finished it, other than being thorough. I skimmed the sex scenes after that first one. So gross. Ugh, I need to get the bad taste of this out of my mouth. It's trying to be all cutesy with this psycho and this selfish asshole who was tricked into a relationship through emotional manipulation. I will never understand that fetish. It's weird, like this manga ticked almost all of my top five biggest hates in manga: rape to love, straight guy going gay (It's okay if it's you), oddly stupid/sexually oblivious ukes, and weird commentary during sex, like "you came from just your ass." (At least I didn't see him mentioning his "lewd body" at any point. *gag*)
Through the Rumors
Man, this goes so far beyond rape to love. I dunno, maybe it'll miraculously get better, but even though it's just one chapter, it seems pretty clear that it'll be two people abusing him, then one of them will have a mild redemption arc and we'll act like he didn't do something awful. I can't stand this stuff, and it's just so common in yaoi.
Omega wa Pink no Yume wo Miru
Wow, despite the creepy premise, this was honestly not as bad as I thought it was gonna be. I'm not satisfied at all with how they handled the fact that this was all due to his unsuccessful attempt to rape the guy's friend, but honestly, the fact that they acknowledged it as being wrong at all is a big step in yaoiland. I love that there was that friendship between the two omegas, and I wish more yaoi focused on friendship like that, especially omegaverse which seems very set on alienating the uke especially. Not a perfect story, maybe not even a good one, but I enjoyed it despite its flaws. I like how hard the alpha works to earn the omega's love, and even in the end, he doesn't insist they come together until the omega is ready, if he ever is. That's honestly pretty sweet for omegaverse.
