Amaama-kun No Okashi Na Yuuwaku
I feel like this author wanted to write a story about a fat girl, but she didn't actually want to DRAW a fat girl. I mean, look at this chick. Her morbid obesity is shocking. x_x Seriously, she doesn't even look slightly pudgy compared to the other characters. It's like we're supposed to use our imaginations. But whatever. If you say everyone sees her as fat, fine. 2.5 stars for now, two chapters in, because I don't like the fact that I have to worry about her eventually getting "thin." I hate stories where he finally loves her for who she is, then she loses weight anyway. Sad that like only .0000000000000000001% of manga has a lead female who isn't conventionally attractive, and of those, like .0000000000000000001% have a strong storyline and a girl who stays the way she is and still deserves love and happiness.
Edo Karuta
Only read the first story. It was sweet enough, even though I hate that she randomly had to get skinny in the last two pages. But at least he loved her before and was even concerned about her weight loss. I wish he'd beat the crap out of all of the people who mocked her, though.
Kimi no Naka Ni
Hm. Kind of abrupt, though I do like that the he was deeply in love with his wife. I hate how yaoi just tosses aside female characters like they're placeholders. I really hate "it's okay if it's you" type stuff with a straight character, so I'm kinda glad it... went the direction that it did. Sad, but it didn't make me cry, which is unusual for me with emotional stuff. I guess I just couldn't really connect with the characters. But it was unusual, so three stars.
Nekomori
Meh. Cute concept, but I don't like that she had to get more feminine. I would have preferred her telling her he liked her just as she usually is. But I guess, even though she looked just like the other characters, she was supposed to be more plain, so... It's nice to see more female leads that aren't supposed to be as pretty.

Urami-san wa Kyou mo Ayaui
This is a slightly more interesting take on the typical het shoujo thing. The girl isn't lusted after by other people, and she's rather weird. It's kind of creepy how the romance is being approached, but it's lighthearted enough that it's not so big of a deal. Plus, so much manga out there has flat out rape between the main couple, so a little pushy stalker behavior shouldn't be too shocking. Seems like it'll stay on a pretty predictable path, but who knows.
Hush (Today)
I didn't realize I was reading the sequel to this, but this one isn't even complete yet. Anyway, I've only read up to chapter 9 so far, but I know what happens because of the whole sequel thing. There are interesting things about the set up. There are some things I can enjoy a bit more knowing what happens later. Just a light, simple story, it seems.
System Of Romance
Lol, guess there's a fine line between butterflies from a crush and adrenaline from being assaulted and facing your death. She should write a book about relationships. So romantic.
