Senya Ichiya - Shitone no Himegoto
This was a very sweet story. I'm not crazy about the art style, but it did get better, especially after Aoi cut his hair. The ending with the daddy made me cry. The first resolution regarding the lover was a little too convenient for me, but it was still a nice tale. Oh, and I loved the butch lesbian! I don't think I've ever seen an older, masculine woman who liked ladies in manga.
Unmei no Hito to Deaeru Koisuru Apuri
Damn it! Stop dragging it out! The tension is only fun for so long. I want to see them date now. I hope the next volume isn't just five more chapters of the same stuff, misunderstandings and cut off confessions, only for the kiss or whatever to happen in the last few pages. x_x But this is a very sweet story with very pretty art. I love it. It's washing a bad taste out of my mouth after reading something stupid and sad. It was just what I needed, but I hate that it isn't finished. I don't know when the second volume is even coming out. EDIT: Uuuuuugggghhhh, this is so much bullshit. I should have just waited until it was done releasing. It took a long time to get chapter seven, and I'm sure things won't be resolved in chapter eight. So it leaves it on this unpleasant feeling. The first volume was so sweet, and I was just really hoping for more of that. Then it throws in that bullshit misunderstanding type stuff. I mean, maybe not as bad as it usually is, but if they just communicated properly, it wouldn't be an issue. They could work through it together. I hate this crap. At least they both know they like each other, but it's annoying knowing it's gonna be this whole thing just for them to date.
I’m a pop star , now expose me !
Eh... I like the concept here a lot, and there were many things that I wish were more common themes in yaoi. But I can't get over what a shit the seme is. Plus, things were kind of rushed and all over the place, or way too convenient. The seme was a dick from the start, though, and just because the uke was counting on that doesn't undo it. He never apologized or anything. For that, I'd rate it at a three. But there were other things I did like, so I guess a 3.5, rounded up to 4.

I'm really afraid to read this, because I'm scared it'll have a sad or unsatisfying ending. I like the emotional nature of it, but it's already hurting my feelings. I wanna hug that poor baby so hard. Ugh, tentatively continuing, but I may wait to keep reading until more chapters come out.
Bianca
Understated and sad, though definitely on the creepy side with that whole "I wouldn't have let her leave either." I feel like female deaths were really romanticized for a good portion of history, and you can still see it reflected in the art of people who came to prominence during those time periods. At any rate, it was an interesting little tale.
Honeybee and Lemon Balm
Eh... I dunno. It's only the first chapter so far, so maybe it'll be good enough for me to ignore the stuff I don't like. Immediately I'd rather the florist get with the cop. I don't hate the yakuza guy, but I do hate the mistaken gender trope, and I LOATHE "it's okay if it's you." There's no chemistry there yet, but I guess we'll see. Three stars for now, but hoping it gets better because it has potential.
His Lake
Eh? So was he the evil magician or whatever the whole time? What was with the horns? Or was it implying that he'd turned evil in his grief? Very short and rushed, like everyone is saying, but at least it was too brief and shallow to make me cry, so hey!
Madou no Keifu
Ooh, I really like this so far! I hope it updates soon! I just love platonic relationships that are built on deep love and respect. (I mean, I assume, since he's a little boy.) It's so rare to not see a female love interest shoved in to stuff like this. Not everything is about romance.
Kimi wa Jun'ai ni Fusawashii
Aw, poor baby. :( I like it as of chapter three, but I hope the next chapter comes soon. I hate misunderstandings, but this seems like it could resolve fairly easily. Fingers crossed!
