Sabishisugite Lesbian Fuzoku Ni Ikimashita Report

Complete | eita kabi | 2000 released

Damn, this breaks my heart and makes me want to cry. She's so raw and vulnerable with her experience in mental illness, and though my own mental illness hasn't manifested in the exact same way, I can still really relate to that feeling of being lost and hopeless. I can't wait to see what happens from here on. I'm really rooting for the author. I hope she ultimately finds herself and finds someone to love her. I'm almost scared to see what sad things might follow, but I'm curious and eager all the same. So glad I started reading this!

Kokoro Kikai

Complete | Yumeka Sumomo | 2005 released

Too short, but a sweet little snapshot. Had it been a full manga, I think it might have been pretty great, even though it had that "it's okay if it's you" air about it, which is the trope I hate most next to "rape to love." I'd like to see more things focusing on depression and mental health, guys getting through it together as friends or more. But since it was so short and didn't dive into it much, I had to give it three stars.

Ai no donā

Complete | Avogado6 | 2019 released

Very short, but it definitely hurts for a moment. The feeling of losing happiness is so awful. Ignorance would be so much better. You long for these good feelings, but everything ends.

Koukai no Naraku

Ongoing | Oshikiri Rensuke | 2000 released

Pretty fucked up. At least I got to brush up on my Spanish, before I realized there was an English version after the Spanish version. Anyway, the idea is suicide results in eternal suffering. Pretty cruel concept, but a lot of people believe there's some sort of punishment for it.

Green (Yuzuki Momoi)

Complete | Yuzuki momoi | 2019 released

Kind of a sweet little story about two people helping each other: a little girl with no friends, and a grown man who doesn't know how to take care of his own child. They both adjust together, and they become their own little pseudo-family by the end. It seems her own parents don't care much about her, which is implied in the way that she reacts to his poor parenting and how he runs off when he doesn't want to change the baby's diaper. But it has a nice, hopeful kind of ending. Simple story, but not bad.
