Very depressing but in a satisfying way. That's all I can really ask. I'm eager to see the other stories, so I hope they're translated soon. ETA: I was surprised, at first, that chapter four wasn't as fucked up as the rest. After a second read through, I really like it. I think cheerful creepy is some of the best creepy, that moment when things seem okay, but we know they're not. Chapter five was quite morbid and hilarious. It's nice to have a little dark humor in there to even out the soul-crushing stories.

And then he realized his true feelings, and all of the rape and torture and choking and kidnapping were okay! Hurray! Seriously, though, at least I knew what I was getting into reading this. For what it was, it wasn't too bad. I had already prepared myself for the irritating "it's okay because love" trope, so it didn't bug me as much as it could have.

Really screwed up, kinda weird, and then it just ends. Pretty depressing.
Déjà -vu (monchi Kaori)
The first one... I don't know if it was just poorly translated or what, but it was really confusing. I get what happened, mostly, but as things were occurring, I was mostly lost. The second one was a lot better, even though it was equally fucked up. I enjoyed it in the sense that it was treated as something dark and sick. I feel like most stories like this don't truly delve into that, the whole sexual predator element. Though, of course, it's too much to ask to see a guy like that actually pay for what he did to a child. Oh well, fiction!
Like as the Time Will Come When it Will Rain
I love this mangaka so much, and I love the stories, especially the rain one. I just wish the ending weren't so ambiguously sad.
To the Sea
It's hard to talk about this without spoiling it, though the tags will do that, too. It's great if you go in not knowing what to expect. It's very deceptive, haha.
