Kyonshii Keikaku
I'm not big on incest, but this was an interesting story. A little rushed, but I liked the way it came together at the end. It reminds me a little of Dogville, which is weird because I got that sense even before the twist. At any rate, that's what they get.
Criminal Interview
I'm very intrigued so far, but it's only five chapters, so it's hard to make a solid judgment. I'm curious about the brother and the way he acted. If the MC brushes that off and doesn't try to see the notebook now, I'm gonna have to go in there and slap him. That reaction almost guarantees that your brother is also a serial killer, is a budding serial killer, is a serial killer fetishest, or is involved with the murder romantically, etc. Maybe you were bait from the start, like he's totally giving you up to this murderer in exchange for... who knows. Anyway, I hope it updates quickly. And that they get someone to proofread, because it's really throwing off the flow. I appreciate them doing this regardless. I dunno, maybe I ought to offer help instead of just complain. CHAP 6: Show us what's in the notebook, you asshole! Also, I love the friends moment. I want to see way more stories with important friends. Yaoi likes to center on the couple and the friends often kind of drift away into the background. Hopefully won't be the case here. Chapter 7: I mean, this has to be a red herring, right? But give me an explanation at this point that isn't pushing the boundaries of belief. Maybe he finds the crime scenes first, because he's tracking the real killer? I don't know, but it sounds pretty ridiculous. Either way, your brother is breaking laws here.
Yamaraashi no Ondo
Kind of weird and abrupt in ways, but it's only the first chapter, so it could really go either direction. I hope it ends up being good. EDIT: So as of chapter two, it's cute and interesting. I want to see how it unfolds, especially with his brother.
In the Cage
Things resolved a little too easily for my tastes, but at least no one raped him into submission. I feel like this was on several lists or something that made me eager to read it, but I'm not sure now what it was that had me intrigued. It was decent enough, but nothing groundbreaking. At any rate, it was an enjoyable enough read, albeit flawed in its own ways. The art was usually pretty, though there was one shot where the alpha's neck is SO long like he turned into some sort of snake monster, and for the life of me, I do not see how anyone okayed that. It was scary.
Ganjigarame
I'm not a fan of incest, and this was pretty generic, so it didn't do much for me, but I like the platonic side of their relationship. I wish there were more yaoi stories with brothers that didn't involve incest of any form. Lol at the guy saying it's wrong to have feelings for his brother, in the midst of fucking his brother. I mean, I get it. You have to draw the line somewhere. XD
Sekai No Owari Ga Furu Yoru Ni...
Weird, but not as bad as I thought it would be based on some of the earlier elements. Sometimes I love this mangaka's art, and sometimes it's kinda meh. This one shifts back and forth, but it's kind of on the meh side. The plot could have been better. The ending is kind of weird and ambiguous. But at least they tried to include some intrigue. If it had been polished, I would have liked it more, but I'll give it a 3.5 for effort.
Ani No Hanashi
Sad and sweet little story. I gave it five stars, but I feel like it could have gone a little deeper. More with the mom, more with the family. I mean, I like how it turned out more or less, but it felt too short for what it was. These stories rarely really dive into the conflict of being gay in a homophobic world. But I appreciated the attempt.
Cry Me a River
I dunno. It is what it is. Another rapey manwha with guys who are hot most of the time but sometimes have tree-trunk necks. It's not quiiiiite as toxic as Jinx, and as long as this bottom isn't like that miserable little loser, Doctor Dan, I may be able to stick around for the pretty art. Even though the things he was thinking during sex were so cringey. I hate how people love to infantilize the "receiving" partner. EDIT: Stop calling it your "tummy." You're a grown fucking man. Dear lord. The vibe of this is already off-putting, obviously, but the fact that he seems mentally challenged or something, like an adult with the mind of a child, just makes it all the more fucked up.
