Tomarigi (Torch)

Complete | Harada | 2000 released

Aww, that was very sweet. It made me cry really hard. I think I'm kind of emotional today.

Aru Otoko no Uta

Complete | Harada | 2000 released

Haha, aww, I love this brother and sister pair. I wanna see more with them! I wanna see them both get some hot guys.

Namaiki Hierarchy

Ongoing | hinako | 2016 released

Damn it. I loved the first story, and I ADORE the art, but that second story is just so creepy. And not in the fun way. I just can't stand yaoiland rules where assault isn't assault as long as it turns out the dude had a boner for you all along. Molesting a sleeping person is gross, and it made it really hard for me to keep reading. Had to drop my five star rating down because of it. What's worse is it's the longest story in here. It's a yaoi cliche full of uncomfortable stuff, so I'm pretty disappointed. I'll keep my review for the other story here, though. FIRST STORY: Very cute so far. I was worried something else would happen and misunderstandings would delay them coming together. Glad that wasn't the case! It was actually really cute how he was purposely teasing him and planning to finally reward him. I wish more manga touched on that, because there's something kind of hot about a guy making another guy wait just for fun, even though he knows they're going to have sex in the end.

Tadaima, Okaeri

Ongoing | ICHIKAWA Ichi | 2016 released

Not perfect, but still really sweet, and one of the few non-rapey Omegaverse stories I've read, so I gave it five stars. I definitely need to read the next one, and I hope it keeps going from that point, too. It'd be nice to have a little series like this.

Tadaima, Okaeri Kagayaku Hibi

Complete | ICHIKAWA Ichi | 2000 released

Very cute. It has its flaws, and this translation isn't quite as good as the other, but I appreciate the person taking the time, regardless. The art is so awesome, and I love that it's just a sweet, loving relationship without typical Omegaverse rape.

Mahou Ga Tsukaenakutemo

Complete | kii kanna | 2000 released

Three stars for now just because I'm... kind of confused? The art is fantastic, and I like what I see, but I don't understand what's happening. It jumps around so much with no clear indication of who's who, so I can't tell which things are old memories, which things are currently happening, and which things are random, supernatural occurrences, like the building appearing. Or was that even supposed to seem mysterious? I don't even know. So yeah, here's hoping it fills us in more soon.

Yatamomo

Complete | harada | 2014 released

Gaaaaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhh!!! Loved it! So glad I finally got around to reading this one. I love Harada. So far, I'd only had a chance to read her short stuff, which is more heart-destroying than anything. This one definitely made me ugly-cry a few times, but it's all worth it in the end. Such a sweet couple. I love the little family they created with the three of them. I wish there were more adventures with them! I'm also worried, though, because if there's ever another continuance, it might result in the relationship getting all messed up. D: Anyway, loved it. Harada has quickly become one of my top favorite mangakas.

Gintama dj

Complete | Harada | 2000 released

I know nothing about Gintama, but I adore Harada and want to read everything she's written. I'm not a huge fan of fanfiction, etc anyway, so maybe it's for the best. This way I can pretend like they're original characters of Harada's own creation. I'm guessing the actual series is full of panty shots, het perversion, and male overcompensation anyway. Can't we just have shows where no one is worried about crushes or dating so that fans can fill in the blanks according to their own preferences.

Ashita Shinu

Complete | akane sora, akizuki ichiha, anthology, aoi aki, aruku, kai (甲斐), mayama rika, otono awo, yuryi | 2000 released

Very sad, some more than others. I think this anthology showed strengths and weaknesses among the mangaka involved. Short stories can be challenging, writing something satisfying that fills in the blanks and makes sense in such a limited amount of space. The first story broke my heart into a million pieces. I was ugly crying and my cat came and forced me to hold him, which made me cry harder, so there's that. I was super bummed to see that mangaka has yet to produce anything else. I hope that just means she's new and we'll see a lot more from her in the future. Several stories were a little brief and rushed, but the ones that hit you hit you hard. Definitely a sweet but very heartbreaking anthology. Obviously, haha. But it was a good kind of sad. It felt real and emotional. The stronger stories, at least.

Tadatada Suki to Iu Dake de

Complete | TOKITA Honoji | 2017 released

Aww, this is so cute! I love it so far. It's a nice read after a frustrating, needlessly depressing manwha I just finished. I look forward to more! Nothing quite as cute as a supposedly "scary" guy being emotional and squishy. EDIT: Finally finished it, and it was very sweet. Lots of fluff, a little angst, but generally heartwarming. I feel like some of Yoshizawa's faces were kind of odd, like sometimes he slipped into this creepy vibe that I don't think the author intended. Maybe that was just me... But I liked it very much. Very sweet little romance.
