Michi Dzure

Complete | Ichikawa Kei | 2000 released

Aww, nooooo, so sad! He really loves that guy, and the guy is a total jerk. Not that it absolves the first guy of his sins, but that's so sad. I can't say that I hate it, though. It was interesting, and it wasn't painted as healthy or anything. Still, my poor heart.

Ore no Doukyuusei ga Binkan sugite Yabai

Complete | Harada | 2014 released

Very cute little short. It isn't dark and depressing or heartbreaking like most of Harada's stuff, haha. It reminds me of when you fool around with your friends when you're younger, and I like that it didn't immediately turn into them both loving each other, like it really started as them just being horny kids. The fact that feelings developed later makes more sense than them secretly wanting each other all along. Either way, cute, but a little too short. ETA: I was excited for the continuation, but the dubcon nature of so many of her sex scenes bums me out a bit. I love Harada so much, but she has a clear kink for the seme hurting the uke and pressuring him during sex, then the uke is just like, "okay, cool," despite the fact that he was just crying and telling the seme to stop and saying it hurts. Annoying, but at least their relationship was sweet outside of that. I wonder if it'll continue, since that sad little end about them not being able to tell anyone about their relationship. I appreciate that both parties are clearly invested by the end, so it isn't just constantly one person pursuing and the other caving.

Gokujou Dessert

Complete | OGAWA Chise | 2000 released

I like the mangaka, but this story was too abrupt and disjointed. Three stars just because the art is pretty. Her plots are very similar in every story so far, but whatever. I like her characters and designs.

Nemuru Machi no Futari

Complete | Kawabata Shiki | 2000 released

Really short, but sweet for the length.

Blue Lust

Complete | Hinako (ひなこ) | 2015 released

Sort of strange and sad so far. I imagine the main two get together, but I kind of wish it wouldn't go that way. I'd love to see a story where a straight character is such dear, loving friends with another boy who struggles with accepting his sexuality. Anyway, I'm interested and hope the manga stays intriguing.

Atokata

Complete | kiyuhiko | 2015 released

It's a little too rushed and clunky to be as sad as it could be, but it was okay. I like the artist, and the ending was better as it was, letting the reader fill in the rest. Three stars is fitting, I think.

Shichi Ji Sanjuu Nifun Nanaryoume No Kimi

Complete | kashio | 2014 released

Wait, so was it a fantasy or not? A little confused, but whatevz. I liked elements of the concept, but it was kind of boring and typical otherwise. The artist could have done so much more with it.

Henai Fumouhen

Complete | Harada | 2000 released

Haha, aww, Harada's only healthy couple. XD Well, minus that one cute story with the boys who were into each other after high school or whatever. But I knew as soon as I realized who they were that it could only end one way. They're super kinky and adorable.

Boku no Suki na Nii-chan

Complete | NAKAMURA Asumiko | 2000 released

It was sweet and had a nice, coming of age sort of feel. There was nothing creepy between the man and child, and it was more of a little boy's first experience with love and not a predator messing with a kid. It ends too abruptly, though. It's like, "Oh, by the way, this happened. The end." But before that, I liked it, even with the quick pacing. I'd give it 3.5 stars.

Hatsukoi (kazuki Rai)

Complete | kazuki rai | 2016 released

Aw, very sweet so far. His cute little face when he's so proud of that C because he knows he worked his hardest. I just want to squeeze him to death. Honestly, I'm pretty over the "girl I was in love with was actually a boy" thing, but I like the characters enough to see past that. They're both complex and original, which counters out the cliche a bit. I'm looking forward to the following chapters.
