I don't know why this wasn't continued in any way after chapter 5, but I have a feeling that if it had been, it would've been something like "You can't change my settings into loving someone else because I gained consciousness long ago and have been observing you working hard and living as yourself for the longest time before you flipped my on switch, so I actually fell in love" type of story. Either that, or at some point she will come to love him as well and just won't try to change him anymore. But it's highly likely that it's both
