That was.... Interesting.

It was good, though not perfect. The story line definitely had some plot holes to it, but nevertheless, it was enjoyable, to say the least. I spent the past 5 hours reading it and I don't regret it. The story, towards the end, was for some reason very rushed. And by rushed I mean that it would have time skips and jumps in the story in the same chapter. And it happened many, many times. And the timeskips would be quite a few. It could be that the creator wanted to leave everything else for the audience to imagine for themselves. But even so, some holes were pretty big and that's why I gave it 4/5 stars. The logic of the characters was also pretty odd, but oh well, it's a manhwa. Beautiful art, hot character design, not very detailed when it comes to anyone else's personality except for the male and female lead tho. Everyone else sort of disappeared towards the end as well. Again, could be that the author wanted us to imagine the rest on our own, but still...

I completely forgot to return and give it a review, because it's not finished here and I read the last chapters in a different site. So It was honestly very thrilling, at some point I was a little weirded out how sudden the change was when she realized his feelings towards her, but I guess it's also understandable, because... How else is the story supposed to progress... And I absolutely fell in love with the way he was head over heels for her when HE realized the feelings he had for HER, so yeah... Loved it He was extremely gentle and seemed like a good father, so good for them, I liked the ending too I wish I could give more details but it's been a whiiiile since I read it last, so yeah.... She is an extremely strong person, mentally and physically, and he gets whipped because of her wish and desire to live. Because she is the only person who ever wanted to live so much, the only person he was willing to let get away unscathed. But she returned and he fell, so then when she went back to her country and was "fired" from her millitary position (more like let go, idk how to describe it, she was made go home), he did everything he could in order to get her to he his guard Which was quite funny to all people, honestly, a beast like him, needing a guard??? A FEMALE guard at that too????????? Should have known something was up, I swear At first, I thought that the woman at the beginning who was trying to seduce the half-french half-arabic prince was the main female lead. So I expected something cool happening... But she died in an instant.... And then came in the female guard to clean up the prince's mess and I figured it out ahahaha Honestly, a read worth reading hehe Also, he is EXTREMELY obsessed That was how I discovered the manhwa, he is just so whipped, I swear, he was even willing to give up his life for her at the end, which was something I did NOT expect to see from HIM. What a lovely specimen. OH, I just remembered!! That other guy, who was the prince's cousin, I am pretty sure we all thought he fell for the FL too, but turns out he was kind of playing her??? I got confused at that part, because he didn't like her, at all, he was in love with the prince's dead half-sister Sooo, I still don't understand why he the things he did, which weren't drastic but the occasional flirting... Idk, maybe he was trying to forget his only love, who knows But he is an extremely good guy till the end nonetheless Loved it, no critique, only wished for more

It was cute I didn't read all of the text because it was a lot and I didn't care enough for a short story But it was cute nonetheless The art style is really warm and welcoming, I like it

I absolutely LOVED it. I ate that shit up, literally read all 90 chapter in a single day, in the span of a couple of hours, it is 12.20 am rn, so I am quite tired, but nonetheless VERY satisfied with how this whole story played out. I reached the end of the season 2, so technically, it feels kind of complete, however there are still a lot of things we need some explanation on. Like why the sultan was suddenly introduced in the last panels of the last chapter Also, I cannot wait for this whole story to be finished. I presume there to be 1 more season before it's completed, as the story itself progresses really swiftly most of the time (which is another thing I absolutely favor, like, if you're not gonna make me spend my time reading more than 100 chapters just to see the ml and fl kiss for the first time whilst nothing else is going on around them, like, no other relevant story lines, then I'm satisfied) The art style visibly changed throughout but that's something I genuinely love looking at and observing when reading a long series - the way the artist's style changes or develops as the story continues. And the changed made to the characters were really beautifully done at that too, so I definitely cannot be mad about it. The art is seriously breath-taking and I love the details everywhere at any given time. The intriguing side characters make it really enjoyable too, as their own little stories and personalities shine through. Also, the dowager empress can go fuck herself and die in a ditch. I. Hate. Her. And Ella, oh my gawd, I despise them. I hope Caron (the ML's brother and second son, aka the second in the like of succession to the throne, but thankfully doesn't want it) gets his happy ending and frees himself from the she tyrant that calls herself his mother. I can definitely see a story of the commoner girl and Caron, for sure. I really hope new chapters come out soon and the season wraps up the story nicely, so far, NOTHING has been left out and I really admire the creators for putting in so much effort into completing a story so thoroughly, as well as making it very fun and easy to read. Please, chapters, come out soon!

This story warmed my heart and honestly makes me want to bawl my eyes out. It is incredible, I loved every single bit of it - from the progressing breath-taking art style to the astonishingly amusing twists and turns in the story. It developed so well, the characters all had such development as well, the fl, Kijin, finally freed herself and reached happiness, she is now married to the person she loves most in the world and the same goes for the ml, Kanghyun. I loved every single stepping stone in their relationship, the fact that he fell first and seemingly harder with how affectionate he always is. She always kept him on his toes tho lol, he wasn't even sure until the very end whether she accepted his proposal or not. Their enemies to lovers story is amazing, especially since it developed relatively quickly. At first they hated each other but she obviously couldn't express it, for he is her boss and direct commander I guess, he, however, made his distaste very apparent. But he came to like her soon, as she is a pretty interesting person and he learned there is nothing to he suspicious of when it comes to her. It was seriously such a good read, I read it in one evening/night, it is now 2.20 am and I still haven't done my night routine, so you can imagine just how good the story is, for me to not put it down for hours on end and sacrifice my sleep, as I have to wake up at 9 am tomorrow.... Welp, it was definitely worth it, words can't even describe how many different emotions this whole story made me feel, I can't possibly summarize it in a single review as well. You just need the actual story to understand how good it is, that's how well everything, including character development and plot twists, is portrayed - you just can't do it justice if whoever is curious about it doesn't read it themselves. I would gladly come back to read it again some time later, when I have forgotten most of it. It was seriously a breath of fresh air - it had many of the things I like in a good story, like manipulation, heart break, possessive nature of mls, corruption, drama, romance, comedy. Perfect balance between all of them. The author somehow managed to pull at all my heart strings at once, even when the story itself wasn't the clearest to me at the beginning because of the different details I couldn't grasp at the moment. It all became clear towards the middle/end tho. I loved it. Simply loved it. The ending was also superb, I love how emotionally attached the ml is, the fl too, even if she doesn't show it. He became so obsessed, it makes sense why I found this story in a reader's list with possessive and obsessive mls. He was everything I am searching for in a man, honestly, Kijin should leave some for us.... It was not a mistake and I do not regret staying up way too late in order to read this. Peace out, I need to do my routine now, future me, if you're reading this for some reason, come back and enjoy it once more. It's worth it.

It was amazing... I read it in 3 days, I started late at night and finished it in the afternoon. It was worth it to binge read this, I absolutely loved it.... I am honestly left speechless, I can't even talk about it right now, because of the complicated emotions it's made me feel. It made me happy, sad, anxious, depressed, delighted, light-hearted and so much more. It kind of lessened the feeling of existential dread I have had the past few weeks. You know, like you don't know what you're doing with your life, even though you're obviously over-thinking it. I just thoroughly enjoyed it, it was so funny and witty, it made me long for a special connection with that one soulmate we have all been waiting for. Naturally, soul mates don't have to be romantic, I think I may have met them in the forms of my best friends, but anyway, I still long for this connection they have. I believe I will find it one day, someone who embodies all the characteristics I adore. I honestly started reading this just because I had seen it a couple of times before and decided to finally give it a try, I also really wanted to finish something long and expand my knowledge of good reads lol I thought I would feel really empty, just like how I feel most of the time after reading something nice and finishing it. But surprisingly, it left me content, although also a bit sad it's over now. I watched their relationship grow and looked over their character development, it felt like watching your kids grow up, I feel satisfied. The relationships between the four main characters was adorable, it really warmed my heart. I could go on a two hour rant about how cute Doyoon Ha and Chowon Yun's relationship is, but I digress (I still don't know if I'm using this term correctly, anyways, I may check later, if I don't forget) I don't really know why I'm writing all these reviews when I never actually post them and just keep them for myself, but it kind of feels nice, it gives me a sense of completion after reading something, as I have a way to get all of my complicated emotions out. I can also look back and remind myself how much a simple read made me feel and go through. So that's nice, it's a diary. God, I hope they don't close this site down, cuz then I'm screwed, my reviews would go to waste :") Happy thoughts, happy thoughts But yeah, overall, a very good read, I enjoyed it, can't wait to start something else and continue on my project of getting educated on stories~ (it really develops my psyche, honestly)

THAT WAS ADORABLE BOYFRIEND OF THE YEAR AWARD GOES TOOOOOO *drumroll please* THE ML!!!!! (I could not remember their names, something like Kuzinaki???) It was so fluffy and warm and oh my god, dream romance, so adorable Made me smile so much, even the antagonists weren't exactly bad, the stalker surprised me, I didn't expect something so heavy to be portrayed so innocently, it was crime after crime LMAO I expected the blond haired girl and the gray haired boy to end up together somehow, I thought she liked him, guess not?? Maybe they will have their own story?! That's just wishful thinking on my part lol It took me very little time to finish this, it was so genuinely pure, I wish people pure as that really existed.... Maybe they do... Please find me.... It made me squeal, giggle and kick my feet in the air, need I say more? And the kicker? No speech whatsoever. No word was needed to portray how beautiful love truly is, so it was really poetic in a sense~ Imagine how they must have felt when their relationship was exposed on TV tho, damn, talk about pressure, it's cute tho

I decided to give this a review finally right after writing the review of the original manhwa. It's definitely been a long time since I read it, but I remember it quite vividly. And I must say, I thought I would feel weird seeing Jungwoo's side story in a parallel universe, where it was all just a horrible nightmare he was having and he never hurt Chonwoo, he never raped him and instead they have been in a healthy sexual and romantic relationship for a long time. It made me feel a bit sad, I wanted everyone to be happy in the end, especially since he finally changed for the better... However, I'm well aware that still wouldn't possibly excuse or justify his past behavior, I just wished he would find his own happiness tho.. Spending years obsessing over a single person and then having to accept you would never be able to turn back time and have the relationship with them you once did, back in the day, because you, yourself, ruined it. Quite heart-breaking. But oh well, actions have consequences, I can't be too soft on him after all the shenanigans. I'm sure he will someday heal and find someone else. Until then at least the Jungwoo in the parallel universe is happy and healthy. Kyujin was the name of the other male lead, right? I think so, I just remembered it, I had completely forgotten it until writing this review. Their story was actually quite adorable, I'm glad Chonwoo found the right person for himself (and it was some damn luck, if Kyujin himself hadn't made some effort to get to now Chonwoo, Chonwoo would have been left lonely and hurt all this time. Their relationship is adorable, I have always liked it. I don't remember much except for how horny everyone is in this specific extra. It's NOT how it was in the original LMAO
