this was so cute (ಥ﹏ಥ) the plot was well-paced and the romance wasn't overpowering, both leads had their own character growth but especially the male lead

I... have no words.. From the first chapter I knew this would be a heartbreaking journey, but I read it all in one sitting nevertheless. While reading this i listened to the songs that appeared in the chapters and other 50s and 60s songs, it made the reading experience totally different to anything I've ever read. Maybe what made this stand out the most was the fact that it felt so real. It touched on racism, homosexuality and class differences in a way that felt authentic and not forced. I wished Byunghoon and Minseok were just more honest to themselves and lived together happily ever after but not all stories get their perfect happy endings! I'm content with the fact that they at least met one more time before finally separating their ways for good :)
