Caste Heaven

Ongoing | Ogawa Chise | 2014 released

c18 13: - I realized that perhaps, in a twisted way, Karino actually cares for/is interested in Azusa because of what Atsumu said in a chapter (saying the caste can be a way to protect).. It's like, because of the dangerous group think that's happening, it's possible that even if Azusa remains a King, he'd be overwhelmed by the majority of those who are against him. In a way, it's better to for Karino to be the devil's advocate to protect Azusa from a MORE DANGEROUS future with their pervy and twisted classmates. The story is really f*cked up so I hope the author somehow execute it well in the next chapters. In a twisted way, I like Azusa and Karino to truly fall in love BUT only after they come to terms to their own selves and get ready for the consequences by atoning for their sins. When I first read this, I remember being utterly heartbroken and frustrated and mad to no end, but rereading it now (11/26/16), I can understand the situation better and see it in different perspectives. In other words, I'm not just being prejudiced with what I was taught to be morally accepted or righteous. I guess after reading lots of manga, I came to realize how ugly human nature can truly be despite growing up thinking otherwise. I, in no way, condone or support rape, violence or abuse, but I at least see it in a clearer perspective. It's really not just black and white. I wouldn't justify these things, but in this f*cked up world, people can only see the best after experiencing the worst.

Ashita No Kimi Wa Koko Ni Inai

Complete | Sakiya Haruhi,Yamamoto Kotetsuko | 2006 released

I liked how the seme handled the situation with the uke, being an adult and all that.. It was sad, but thankfully, the uke was mature enough to stay and try to understand the seme more. Although he claims he's a bit annoyed by how the seme's attitude changed after they officially dated, it's not like he's totally against being pampered... He's just not used to it since he was raised to be mature and independent. Would've wanted to read more though...

Juujun Bitch Lover

Complete | TOMOCHI | 2018 released

start: 05/03/19 end: 05/03/19 Started this thinking I'll probably dislike/get uncomfortable with the uke 'cos of his work, but surprisingly, I disliked the seme more! He's just too much, especially for someone like Minato, who deserved to be treated better than that. Ugh. Kaito even claimed he wanted Minato not just for sex, but he kept overdoing it.. Errr when I read, I usually lean towards the seme than the uke. But really, I didn't like Kaito that much. He was too pushy, aggressive, demanding, clingy, the list goes on.. He's just really... troublesome, I guess (tho he "appears" to be innocent and puppy-like) >.< The story was okay and the sex scenes are hot, but I wish there was a special chapter showing how the j*ck*ss ex-bf got his karma. (and I'm still quite irked with Kaito's little affairs. He himself knew Minato was doing it with others because of work, but his case was different. Scratch that, I guess that first time, he was thinking there was another one like him who meets with Minato regularly to have sex outside of work. But how about after they got together? He was too quick to assume and get jealous over the boss and went ahead and cheat with some girl. tsk.)
