Bokura wa Nando mo Koi o suru

Complete | SEINA Anji | 2017 released

start/fin: 03/25/19 ~ My heart broke over and over while reading, and I imagined different scenarios because of this manga, so I got hurt even more.. Even so, I'm glad they eventually had a happy ending (for now at least~)... Ahhh, it's been a long time since I really liked something like this.. I mean, unlike other manga, I don't even know a lot about these characters.. But after seeing them go through this ordeal over and over, I just got attached to them and supported them. Ahh, I want more... T_T I guess I'll have to imagine the rest..

Life Senjou no Bokura

Complete | TOKOKURA Miya | 2016 released

start/end: 04/03/19 T_T It hurt to imagine this happening, what more IRL. :( Especially the part where... C'mon.. It was Akira who first "fell in love" with Yuuki despite being straight.. So knowing that same guy break up with him saying they weren't really gay anyway broke my heart. It felt like, even if someone pursues you, claiming he's so in love with you and is willing to do anything, in the end, people still change, and so do their feelings. There's no guarantee that you'll always stay the same in their heart. I guess this is why it's really hard for me to imagine myself being with someone again anytime soon. I just feel like I'd just waste time being with someone I won't end up with anyway.. Ugh, got totally sidetracked.. But anyway, I'll keep this in my favorite list. Just to remind me how being afraid of "losing" someone to the point that some will choose to drive them away instead, is just useless. It's better to spend time creating memories with your special someone rather than overthinking of the uncertainties of the future.

Sayonara Alpha

Complete | ICHINASHI Kimi | 2016 released

start/fin: 04/24/19 I've been seeing this title whenever omegaverse recommendations are wanted.. I've been putting off reading it though 'cos omegaverse is kind of a guilty pleasure for me, but I have to be in the mood. I'm just annoyed whenever omegas are taken advantage of because they give off strong pheromones. Thankfully, the omega uke here is strong enough to fight off those who attempted to touch him even when he's vulnerable. I also liked that they waited until alpha seme (Haruka) got old enough before they do it further. Sure, it's kind disturbing to see omega uke (Chika) unable to control himself and kiss Haruka, who didn't even know what's going on. Fortunately, after that, Chika was even more cautious not to do much to Haruka. Anyway, I wish there were more chapters as to when they're finally together.. I would've loved to see Haruka in college, dealing with some bugs that wish to steal him away, and him being completely devoted to Chika regardless.

Hinadori wa Shiokaze ni Madoromu

Complete | MINADUKI Yuu | 2018 released

start/fin: 05/22/19 *I love it so much.. The pacing, the plot, the characters.. Ryou's is more complex of course.. To think he even slept with his aunt (/stepmom) just to get back at his uncle (/stepdad) and cousin (/stepbro).. I guess some people look for that "something" even they don't know of, so they go around in circles doing things even though they get them in trouble... Anyway, I liked that Ryou didn't really force himself on Yuuichi.. But even so, he was a bit forward, and I liked that he himself knew that what he did could've troubled Yuuichi and he was being remorseful about it. He wasn't as pushy as the other seme who just keep on torturing their uke to get what they want. Yuuichi is just too precious for both Ayumu and Ryou. I liked their relationship, especially 'cos Ayumu was similar to how Ryou was, or rather, how Ryou wanted to be when he was a kid. Yuuichi is simply a lifesaver... So yeah, even though Ryou's past is something I personally dislike (like sleeping around regardless of the person, even though he/she's taken), the narrative in this story is very convincing that it made me understand his POV more, which led me to accept why he did all those things. I'm just glad he was truly a changed man and didn't resort to going back to his old ways after meeting Yuuichi and after they had a "fight" sort of.. If it were another seme, he'd probably f*ck around someone else to prove a point or whatever, which is totally unnecessary. I also liked that the "marrying a woman" wasn't dragged longer and they quickly resolved how it wouldn't exactly help.. Anyway, I'm just babbling whatever but in the end, I just love this so much. *Btw, Ayumu and Kazuya.. I mean.. um.. Can I expect something years later? lol
