i really like tragic oneshots, i think the shortness of these stories is honestly a key part of the storytelling element. you don’t need more because everything that they needed to say had been said. it leaves sm of the interpretation and process of understanding to the viewer which i personally think makes it a bit more beautiful and touching. you have to fill in the gaps with your own values and emotions. (i didn’t know this author had it in them to not be a fucking freak lmao)
