Currently in chap 22 and bruH now I remember why this story irked me so much despite liking the premise and the art. It's the fact that the reason why the mc hid him being omega due to the ml hating omegas. Like im all for hiding stuff, but it irks me sm that he had to go through all this shit bc he likes him and "does not want to be hated". It's perfectly fine if they barely met and just have an ambigouse relationship like boss-employee, classmates BUT they're CHILDHOOD friends. A fucking familial bond at that. Did he never consider the possibility that despite everything, being childhood besties would make him be accepted no matter what? And why does HE have to worry about all that? It's not his fault he's an omega what the FUCK why does he have to hide it when its a biological nature. Idk but you will never see me doing all this to danger my life, especially for a MAN. I genuinely just want the ml being the more pathetic one, not the MC. He needs to STAND UP. Atp the only logical person here is dohyun, which i still think is UNFAIR bc why does HE have to sort out the mess?? Brother of christ, i relate with his frustration so much. But daMN as a story thougH, i thought it would've been dealt with a lot sooner. So far, the onlg progress there has been is her relationship with izek and that's it? Completely expecting a more thought-out side plot regarding her brother though but all I read rn was about izek, ruby and monsters? Oh and the trauma ofc and unveiling the abuse. What I just dont get is the way that she puts up with caesar's malicious intents like PLS GURL STAND UP FOR ONCE OMG. Totally understood the "useless wife" she was going for from the start with izek and the others, but with caesar??? Someone would have to DIE first before I succumb to that man. Ofc ofc it's a coping mechanism and how she is able to survive in the past, but it is honestly frustrating how it seems that she has not made any proactive plans regarding her situation aside from stuff involving izek. Ugh. My feelings are just complicated. But u know what's more complicated? Caesar and ruby. Fucked up that it becomes funny af. And idk why cuz it was so obvious but maybe he didn't show a shred of attracted blatantly to her so he had to kiss her to make sure she knows and when she KNEW that's when the image of him to her broke. Like imagining that ur brother, whome u thought was just abusive, was obsessed and fucked up at the thought of u? That would fuck me up so bad omg.
