Finished the novel. Made me cry like a bitch. There is so much to unpack in this story that i dont think typing is enough. I LOVE THIS. This is one of the reasons why i am even alive rn. I have never felt more seen and related with kim dokja than anybody else (besides chu wanning ofc). He is the embodiment of who I am as a person, like he's my kinnie it's so fucking shocking how I can relate so much. The story is incredible. Tbfh I started bc of many joongdok i see on my twt, but stayed for the plot and mostly bc of dokja. I would recommend this in a heartbeat for everyone, but it does take time in finishing it if all u want is the romance or shipping aspect between kdj and yjh since it's focused on plot and action. I, for one, managed to finish this in less than a month (i remember it was on the road to christmas break) WHILE preparing for exams bc im just built like that and I was immersed in the world building which was amazing by the way! It was a rollercoaster, but i wouldnt have it in any other way. I love every character until now. Even if it's been a couple of years since I've finished it, best believe im still reading joongdok fanfics until now. I love the popularity its been getting, bc i need everyone to reach the epilogue and LITERALLY cry with me every damn time its mentioned. This is a gem, a masterpiece, a piece of my existence, a place in my heart, and chapter in my life i will always keep bookmarked. I love it. ALSO, THERE'S FINALLY A FUCKING ENG PHYSICAL BOOK!!!

Finished the anime in one day and i was fucking HYPED for it so here I am. Told myself to marinate it but alas I couldn't help myself. Stopped at chap 61 for now to continue the marinade.

07/23/2024: chapter 81 Finished the anime and went straight to the manga. Loved it. I can dare say it's so much better than tokyo revengers, even if I didn't want to compare them. This is what I expected from tokyo rev, so imagine my disappointment when it didn't lived up to my expectations. Anyway, I LOVE sakura. He is such a tsuntsun and he is soooo pretty i ship him sm with suo, but allsakura is my THING. I LOVE HIM THAT MUCH. UGH. Stopping to let it marinate a bit, but so far it's better than what I expected! 07/25/2023: Chapter 148 Ik I said i would let it marinate, but i just could not help it. I COULD NOT. LOVE THIS. It is a fucking masterpiece. Suzuru and togame has got to be at the top of my list rn. UGH. Their character development and just ohmygod when they came to help furin and u see suzuru going in his chef uniform and everything about him just feels RIGHT. Like he's on the right path, and ur just proud of what he became. His arc is one of my faves atp along with togame even if the start didn't peaked me a bit. OH and the fight between endo and sakura? Beautiful. Endo and the red haired guy was gay af ik they're twisted as fuCK. I actually think endo was having a huge ass boner amidst their fight bc of sakura like how could hE NOT. also satsugune(?) Bruh the ume lackey one, i just know he found sakura beautiful in that ONE panel. The whole fucking class just gawked at his face shined by the moonlight & I wont even be mad at them my boi PRETTY AS FUCK. This is 10000000x better than what I expected like so much better than tokyo rev im so serious holy shit. The way each arc has its own lessons and quotes that u wouldn't dare miss. Most especially suzuru's arc, like the humanity shown there was what made me love it. This story is not just about fights, but about humanity, friends, love and passion for life. I love how the author tries their best to put that in the story sm, it's basically the core itself i think. Even each character's arc shows so much complexity in a way that doesn't drag the backstory and UGH I JUST LOVE IT. I genuinely hope this does not end yet.

Initially, didn't find the concept as appealing to me considering that I only know a little about HP. But nevertheless, I wanted to know more about the ames brothers bc of a fanart i saw on twitter ugH it felt angsty and here I am finished with the manga. It was good but holy hell have I not witness a gag that I didn't like for so long aka Lance's sister complex. At first, it was ok i didn't mind it. But when he started inhaling a bag of air from his SISTER'S room i was like oh HELL NAH. That shit's fucked up. That turned me all the way off, I'm never fucking with that guy uGH. Just give me waldt and rayne bruh. Aside from that, all is good. Kind of frustrating tho to see everybody get smashed to pieces while 3 people tried hard to bring mash back to full potential like??? It'a been 20 chapters omg!!! Anyway it's a good manga.

Sometimes I am in need of toxic bl and when I tell you this has exceeded my expections it definitely DID. Im sorry but the basic ass book cover made it seem like it would have a basic ass plot so I never started this but holy shiT when I tell you it's been a while that i've read a plot centered story or just a story that doesnt just revolves around the dark romance? I love it omg.
