Definitely could've been a lot better. I read on the author's note that it was supposed to be gl which I think would also better suit this honestly. There were a few things that could've been clarified at the end like what happened with the brother, what the red guy's father's role in the ending of the story, and etc. But it's still good, and was able to provide a good backstory from the main plot. And of course, the fucking art.

FUCKING GOT CAUGHT UP. Watched the anime and finished this in no time wtf, it's good? It's so quick to read bc it's direct and although there are flashbacks or story arcs, they're pretty short and we get the gist of each character's motives and reason for getting into blue lock. Saw discourse on twt about hinata and isagi so it made me watch and read blue lock to actually make MY own basis. To be fair, Isagi is a good protagonist. He is so good, and his development is seen throughout the story. Since he uses his mind, there's more shit to read but idC he's smart af. AnyWAY, they both have similarities in that they are not afraid of change, in fact theY CRAVE it. They want change, and they always seek for it. At first, I thought isagi to be the one between him and hinata to have more mental breakdowns (?) When things don't go in his way, or like when shit goes down. But then as the story progresses, they're actually similar than I thought. Hinata also get breakdowns, most especially when he realizes how useless he was aside from his jump. I don't want to compare, but hinata is my baby and I am quite confident to say that Isagi comes second. He is getting good in controlling his thoughts, and although he overthinks when shit goes down, he still manages even in a small way to bring himself back together and strike hard 2nd time. This manga is not even trying to hide the fruity-ness pls i disliked reo's motives, i kind of hoped he would stop being in nagi's shadow even if that's what he always dreamt of. When I thought he would strive for his own path buT nO bitch went marupok just bc nagi wanted him help to beat isagi pls disappointed but not surprised. I see his potential and I wanted that rivalry between nagi and him though, but with no hard feelings like what he was feeling HAHWJAHW. And bachira just outright saying, "I love you partner" to isagi guRL I LOVE THEM SM. ALSO CAN RIN AND ISAGI BE FRIENDS TOO I THINK RIN DESERVES A HUG PLEASE. Overall, looking forward to more in this story !!

This is everything that I wanted from a historical isekai manhwa oh my gOD. The bi in me is squealing in glee bc yaoi and yuri is in here and the MESS in S2 was fucking everything. This is everything that I wanted with historical isekai manhwas like the bi in me is squealing sm from every direction. However, I do agree in some comments that maythan sometimes doesn't treat things seriously and tbh it doesn't look like he did anything helpful throughout the story hajeuwh he's just minding his own business and the others just kept on bothering him like bruh he just doesn't want to die and go back!! But it's reasonable considering that everything is just a game and he barely had attachments to the characters unlike his sister ofc. I quite like that part of the story?? Him being unbothered yet no matter what he does, the plot revolves arounds him regardless like that royal rumble in s2 was a MESS and i LOVE it. What I am truly hoping for this next season is more depth towards the relationship between maythan and the characters, I think this is the right time for that to happen. Also, s3 just started but why are we getting slapped with carsen's past already?? And bruh the fact that cedric is the most normal out of the ml despite being the least normal one aka beastman. The crown prince and duke being obsessed at him and literally SAed him oh my goD like he damn marked this man whole unconscious and continued doinG so. And he's abOut to apologize?@?÷*×< at least make the redemption arc worth it bro. Lastly, rosie and yuriel will be the death of me bc yuriel's confession is puRe yearning in the midst of angst and UGH fuck i love it.

When I tell u ive been eyeing this for awhile now but that 34 chaps is whats stopping me. I just could not wait any longer I NEEDED SOMETHING INTERESTING AND THIS WAS IT ALBEIT TOO SHORT. Im surprised its almost a year after s1 ended omg my patient ass could never. Love the dynamic and recently been into "and they were roommates" trope after getting into gelphie UGH. I hope to see more !!!
